Spacious Riverfront Cabin, Eco-Friendly, Fireplace, Dogs welcome. Summer Pool.

Steep yourself in the warm and peaceful surroundings of our spacious 2 bedroom, 3 bath home just steps for the beautiful Yachats River. Heron House is a welcoming haven for your romantic getaways, family vacations, reunions or retreats. We can accommodate additional occupants if they are age 5 or younger. The interior features natural wood beams and cathedral ceilings, skylights, Kashmir rugs, lush towels, and colorful comforters. If you are traveling with small children, we have a high chair and pack and play for you! We take pride in providing our guests with a clean, well furnished and environmentally friendly vacation home.

Enjoy our neighborhood heated pool which is open seasonally June 29 - Labor Day. Year round Tennis courts and playground area available near the pool in addition to a fire pit for roasting smores.

About Pets: Dogs are welcome at Heron House. However our insurance policy does not cover the following breeds: Akita, Chow, American Staffordshire Terrior, Presa Canario Pit Bull, Rottweiller, Doberman. Also, dogs must remain on leash anytime outdoors.

Please note: This home is dog friendly with a two dog maximum. A $100.00 fee applies. While we welcome your dogs, we do not allow them to be on furniture or bedding. Please let us know if you have questions about this policy.

This was our second stay at Heron House and we loved it just as much as our first visit. The house is well appointed with comfortable beds, a large dining room table, and a new comfy couch in the living room. It’s cozy but with plenty of space to spread out. The many window seat nooks are perfect for curling up with a book or afternoon naps. Quiet Water neighborhood is as described; quiet, serene and peaceful overlooking the Yachats River. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Nice clean property, well stocked, loved the wood throughout the house, reminded us of homes and cabins where we grew up in Upper Michigan! Only thing was a bit confusing was finding the house, found the garage parking number right away though so didn't take long. Thanks for sharing wonderful home with us!!

Overall, a nice place to stay. Short walk into town. The listing should be updated: really just a 1 bedroom house with dedicated walls. The other bedroom is loft style that is not as private as some people would want, especially if a large group of people are staying. Very quiet and comfortable. A bit dated style wise if that’s important to you. I would recommend this listing to my family and friends.

Granny Girls getaway

The Heron House served as the perfect homelike base for our holiday get together with two generations of friends and family. This was my second stay in this charming we’ll appointed cabin on the Yachats River and it won’t be my last. I have only one suggestion to improve convenience and perhaps safety. Most of the electrical sockets in the original part of the cabin are worn and in need of replacements. It was often tricky to charge phones etc and we found it necessary to prop charger receptacle in place to keep them plugged in.

We enjoyed our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. Kitchen and oven were a bit on the small side, but the overall house was spacious and had a large family room upstairs in addition to the downstairs living room. Location was also within walking distance of town and the 804 trail. Would stay here again!

I love staying at Quiet Waters, and Heron House was a great spot. We always see a good variety of birds along the river, as well as the occasional otter. Having a snuggly house with a fireplace to return to after our outdoor adventures was lovely.
