About this property
The Cottage by Wanderlust Abodes
Summary:
Welcome to "The Cottage" by Wanderlust Abodes property. Proudly reopening in July 2024 after extensive renovation & redesign...this is no longer your grandma's cabin.
Wanderlust Abodes' contemporary waterfront cottage is nestled on a quiet stretch of Intermediate River, which feeds into allsports Intermediate Lake.
No detail has been overlooked. The Cottage now boasts a gourmet kitchen, stunning bathroom, & comfortable bedding. Use our outdoor shower after a day biking through Bellaire--the trail is right out our back door, a cool libation at Short's Brewing Co, or paddling down the river on our antique canoe or stand up paddle boards.
The Space:
contemporary cottage | waterfront
2 bedrooms | sleeps 6
float on the river | gourmet kitchen | outdoor shower
The Neighborhood:
This charming location, situated on the 45th parallel in Northern Michigan, has everything you need to enjoy a satisfying & relaxing stay. Be sure to explore our exceptional local restaurants, shops, & top-notch lodging with Wanderlust Abodes.
Bellaire… Where Everyone Is a Local.
Water is the backdrop of life in Bellaire, the county seat. Swimming, boating, fishing, & beach-combing are summer activities that give way in the fall to driving tours along some of Michigan’s most scenic back roads. In the winter, snowmobile trails, sledding spots, and Shanty Creek’s ski slopes provide plenty of fun. Golf swings into action in the spring as the area heats up again. The Village’s 1,200 residents know how to throw a party. Each August the town has a fabulous Annual Rubber Ducky Festival downtown with food, arts, crafts, a parade, & a Rubber Ducky Race. Other annual activities include September’s Harvest Festival & Scarecrow Extravaganza, a Holiday Gift Fair, Light Up The Night, 5k Run/Walk, Parade, Soup Cook-Off, & much more. Check the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce site often to view upcoming events.
Get to know Bellaire by visiting our unique gift, clothing, and art shops as well as great places to eat and drink, plus a traditional movie theater makes Bellaire a day-into-evening destination.
Other Things to Note:
