The house was advertised. It was clean and really nice. We needed two downstairs bedrooms for elderly family and the layout worked great. We were a little nervous about the area but had no issues and it was close to downtown. Our family had a great time! Justin was very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.
The host communicated very well, check in was super easy, the property was very clean and put together! The property was also located close to a lot of places. We will be coming back!
Justin’s house was comfortable & accommodating. It was very convenient for my elderly mother and the rest of the family meeting there. The only feedback I’d suggest, is somewhere to hang towels in a couple of the bathrooms and a welcome binder w/ printed info on house rules, Raleigh “must know” info, fav places to eat and the “ check out” details. Maybe also when the trash & recycling bins need to go to the curb. Mahalo from Hawaii! Cathy
I rented this property for a wedding we were attending in town. Upon arrival the house was not clean, I paid an extra fee for cleaning in order to get an early check in. There was hair in all of the tubs and floors were dirty throughout the house. Not sure that the towels and linens would be clean after seeing all of this. I was traveling with my family including my 2 infant grandchildren and elderly father, The house is nestled between 2 abandoned boarded up houses. The neighborhood was less than desirable. We were unable to walk with the children or really spend any time outside. Needless to say we checked out after the first night. The owner did not compensate me in any way. I was pretty much told that is what to expect when only 3 miles from a major city. Mind you I grew up in a pretty big city. My family and I did not feel safe staying here and the owner did nothing to remedy this.
The house was great, and Justin was on it, the only small thing is I would suggest more throw blankets and some spare pillows. They have two extra throws in the living room but there was 8 of us and most of us could have used the extra comfort :)
