This was a wonderful home. It was a perfect stay for me and my family. Everything was very clean and it was truly a home away from home for us! I recommend this property to anyone who appreciates cleanliness and modern style!
With a coat of paint and a carpet refresh, this property would go from acceptable to excellent. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, and the owner was responsive when I had questions, which I appreciated. The house has plenty of space and the layout matched the listing. That said, the interior is more worn than the photos suggest. The carpets have visible staining, some walls and doors show patched areas or small holes, and most walls looked dingy overall. The mattresses were comfortable, but they also had noticeable stains. None of this made the stay unsafe, but it was very noticeable. Future guests should also be aware that the booking requires either a 3,000 damage hold or a 90 damage-insurance fee, which may matter for planning.
The home was neat and put together well. Located near downtown Raleigh and was able to jump on the highway to get to Durham. Would recommend to anyone wanted to stay in the area.

Ok but not ideal
Great layout, nice home. Cute decor but if you are going to be on the louder side I wouldn’t suggest it and make sure your prompt and off the property at check out time not any time later (7 minutes or they will threaten to call the cops)

If you were to ever read the rules this home as quiet hours as it is a town home in a community. You and your guest broke multiple rules including smoking on the property and being loud at 3am. Even after I called you to ask you all to rectify you continued outside. You also had more people in the property than stated on the reservation. Instead of asking you to leave Immediately allowed you to stay until 11am. Not 8 am but 11am and then at 11am you and your guest continued to enjoy the property at which case VRBO informed me to let you know i would be calling the cops to have you removed. At that point in time you then quickly packed up and left. Thank you for the review though and for your partial stay at my home. I hope you all were able to find some accommodations for the rest of the weekend.
We were a group of 3 moms with our 3 - 8 year old boys, who were in town for a Hockey Tournament. This home was perfect for each of us to have our own room and then extra space to spread out. Having the kitchen was great as we usually have to stay at hotels which means eating out for pretty much every meal. It was so nice to have breakfast and some dinners at the house, where the boys didn't have to sit for long periods of time and could play while we were prepping the meals. The home has everything we needed and was fully equipped in the kitchen and even the bathrooms had soap, shampoo and conditioner which was a nice addition. I would definitely recommend this home and if I am down in the Raleigh area again, I would plan to stay here again.
Thank you for hosting us.

Extremely Disappointed
We were visiting NC for Thanksgiving and planned to have our family over as the house was big enough to host many people. However; when we got there, we immediately found there were no hand towels and while looking for some, found a bag of marijuana in a kitchen drawer! When contacting the host, he said the cleaners obviously missed it! Really? There weren't any hand towels so he had some sent to the house, but there wasn't any laundry detergent to wash them. We asked about it and he said due to people being allergic, etc, they don't provide anything to use with the washing machine! So, needless to say we had to ask friends to give us some laundry soap to wash our clothes for the week. That was very disappointing.
We were unable to host due to the fact the kitchen was sparse with dishes. There aren't any serving dishes or serving utensils, no can opener and no toaster. The bedrooms had plenty of space, which was great, but there isn't any bedroom furniture to store clothes or hangers in the closet! How do you rent a property without the bare minimum?
Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed and will not recommend this place to anyone.
