Host, Erica, was proactive in communicating. The house was neat, clean and accurate to the pictures seen online. A quaint house with character. it worked perfect for our family who was in Philipsburg for a weekend wedding.
We had a great time in Pburg and this house was clean, cozy and close to the concert venue and downtown. The owners were accommodating and answered all my questions.
We visited Philipsburg with our family for a wedding and this home was a lovely place to stay. Easy walking to shops and restaurants, and convenient access to all the local scenery. The hosts were great and easy to work with. Plenty of room for us to sleep and to hang out together. If we visit the area again I’d stay here again.
This home is everything we needed. 4 bedrooms, fully equipped, easy access walking to town, etc. Updated interior while maintaining quirky historic features as well. Quiet and comfy.

Thanks Abbie! We are glad to hear ya'll enjoyed the place. We have had such a fun time make the house a home and adding the "quirky" to it. We hope you come stay again!
The house was spacious, clean, and modern, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were thoughtful and left helpful notes around the house. We especially enjoyed the lovely outdoor space, which was perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The location was great - we could easily walk to town and enjoy all the shops and restaurants. Overall, we would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Philipsburg!

Thanks Sarah!! Glad you enjoyed the location and thanks for the props!! We love sharing our little home-away-from-home with folks that appreciate it!! Hope to host you again!!
Overall…we liked the location.Owners were fantastic to work with…since my old phone wouldn’t download vrbo app. Erica was very prompt to get back to me via email and really cared about making sure our stay was great!
If I had to mention a downside at all would be the lack of electric outlets…but we made do with “borrowing” the extension multi outlet cord from the basement!! Would definitely stay here again.
The house has had a lot of upgrades and was very comfortable. Everything worked well and was in good repair. The backyard was nice and private, but the lawn needed mowing. The bathrooms have been updated and there was plenty of hot water available. The floorplan was a bit funky. The only bathroom on the main floor was only accessible through the master bedroom, resulting in foot traffic through the bedroom in order to use the bathroom. But it wasn't a huge inconvenience.
Very disappointed with the “air conditioning” amenity. The air conditioners were only in the upstairs bedrooms which was not clear in the description. I would not have booked had this been more clear.

Darci-
Sorry to hear that the airconditioners upstairs weren't what you expected. We have never heard of an issue with the main floor temperatures but we do realize it was exceptionally warm during your stay. We will make sure to clarify in the future but thought that was clarified in the house information with the suggestion to keep the house cool at night with windows open downstairs in the evenings and suggesting the curtains be closed during the warmer parts of the day.
The folks before your stay seemed happy with the airconditioners and asked what brand they were. We are glad you were able to find the breaker! We had the whole house re-wired a couple of years ago.... but since the house is from the late 1800s and use to be up at the ghost town, there are definitely some quirks.
Thank you for the feedback.
We really enjoyed our stay in Philipsburg. The house was perfect for the 3 of us. I traveled with 2 female friends; we each had our own bedrooms and the house was quaint and cozy. It was a short walk into town, for restaurants and shops. There was a grocery market close by to get provisions for the kitchen, so we made breakfast each morning before we headed out for the day.
The only thing lacking was a full length mirror, but we are 3 ladies from CA, so that explains that, haha. But all in all, we enjoyed the house and our wonderful time in Philipsburg and the surrounding areas!

Christine! So glad you had a good visit. Sounds like you had a great time with friends, got some good wildlife viewing in and enjoyed the house!
Thank you for the suggestion on full-length mirror(s).
Guess we barely look in the mirror when in P-burg! ;)
Funny thing is we have a handful of full-length mirrors from Covid times when we had a friend come teach private dance lessons to our little ones outside!
We have many folks that come for weddings, birthdays and family celebrations so we will get some full length mirrors.
Look forward to hopefully getting to connect in person during your next visit!
Having stayed at several short term rentals in the past, I must share that this experience was the best overall thus far. The property was VERY well appointed. In past experiences, we had to buy forks, garbage bags, paper towels etc. Not only did this property have plenty of the items one would expect, but also a full container of coffee grounds, spices, plenty of towels, pillows, blankets etc. It was lovely. I cannot express how wonderfully easy the communication with the owners was - both prior to arrival and at exit. The owners didn't make the departure arduous in any way. If you are interested in an experience in the Phillipsburg Montana area, especially if you have a group of more than four, I highly recommend this property. A special thanks to the hostess Erica. Much appreciation. Oh and the columbine out front were spectacular!!
