Brand new apartment finished in 2022. Located in a historic 1895 building in downtown Silverton, Colorado. With a ground floor entry, this exceptional apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, large living room with a custom Queen Murphy bed, 14 foot ceilings in main living area, a master bedroom with a King bed on the mezzanine level, 1.5 bathrooms, and a little loft space.
The custom made Murphy Entertainment Unit in the main living area has a built-in Samsung 50 inch, "The Frame" smart television set. The unit pulls down to reveal a Queen bed made with soft 100% cotton sheets, a cotton duvet down comforter, and comfy pillows. Firmer pillows are stored in the guest's walk-in closet.
The private master bedroom on the mezzanine level features a King bed, luxuriously made with two down pillows, two firmer pillows, a cotton duvet down comforter as well as a cotton blanket on a new, comfortable Stearns & Foster "Hope Bay" mattress. Steps away from the King bed is a brand new addition to the building, a convenient powder room with a cabinet and a toilet. Towels and amenities provided.
The main bathroom, a short hallway away from the main living area has a walk-in type large shower, cabinet, sink, and toilet. Towels provided with extra towels in the cabinet drawer. This bathroom features amenities by Beekman 1802 Fresh Air Collection to include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, and lotion. The powder room beside the mezzanine master bedroom offers soap and lotion. Infused with honey, these products are warm and pleasant. The Beekman 1802 Fresh Air amenities line contains essential oil derivatives of bergamot, ginger, tea, and wood musk to give all the products a pleasant earthy tone and appealing smell anyone can enjoy. Beekman 1802 products meet environmental standards and are made from ethically-sourced, natural ingredients.

Great place. Easy to book; responsive owner/manager. Clean, newly redone, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, great location. We would gladly stay here again; highly recommended!
Stayed here to visit family. Handlebars is the watering hole for all of us so this place was perfectly situated next to it and right in the middle of town. Walking distance to everything, friendly host, nice amenities, well stocked kitchen and baths. You won’t regret staying here!
Likely one of the nicest accommodations in Silverton. We stayed three nights and quickly came to validate all the glowing reviews. Everything you might need in restaurant and retail right outside the door or just around the corner. Inside the unit, it's easy to see the thought that went into the details. A truly wonderful experience.
The place was very clean and is super cute. A bit noisy when people are staying above you and use the stairs and the shower. Overall would highly recommend.
This Loft apartment was wonderful with excellent amenities, including comfortable bed, super nice linens, modern and lovely living space including kitchen and bathrooms. The space was super clean with everything you might want at your fingertips. It was a great location for activities in nature as well as restaurants and other close by cities: Telluride, Durango, and Ouray. Great 7 day vacation in Silverton at the Loft!
This loft was amazing! The location was right in the middle of town. Right next to great coffee, restaurants and shops! It had good parking! And it was fully furnished and stocked with all the things my family needed. From fans to cool off to bathroom amenities and kitchen amenities.It was also very easy unloading and loading due to being right next to parking. It was very stylish and practical! We loved our stay and will be booking again!!
The apartment is beautiful. The location is amazing. We loved being in Silverton.A few things I'd change:The couch/living room seating is not comfortable. We had a movie night after dinner, and it was not the most inviting.Plus, you can't pull down the Murphy bed and still watch TV downstairs.But the dining chairs were comfy.I wish it had a patio of some sort. I would have rather been outside honestly....But I'd definitely stay here again.Also, if you have accessibility needs, the main floor is totally accessible.The shower/bathroom too. The decor is amazing from tile to curtains and towels/bedding.The kitchen is stunning. The new meets the old.Checkin was so easy, access to the location, parking right outside, and internet was great. I had to work while we were in town, and the desk was perfect with a great view to work from.
We were completely charmed by the loft! It was perfect for our stay! What a delightful place, so stylish and thoughtfully designed and decorated. Everything we needed was there from wine glasses and gold silverware to crisp white bedding and cozy luxurious robes. We loved looking around at all the design elements like the black and white tiles, brass fixtures, exposed brick, mod furniture, unique antiques. It had the feel of a hip, New York city loft, but...step out the door...and we were right in the middle of quaint little downtown Silverton. The Coffee Bear was right next door! The Shangri-la mineral pools were right across the street (will have to try those next time). And shops and restaurants lined the streets to the left and right. What an ideal place to stay! So spacious and the perfect location!!!!

My husband and I purchased this property in our 20s and operated an old fashioned soda fountain and drug store in the retail space while living upstairs in the Greene St. Loft apartment. This space was the back part of the drug store. Old timers in town still refer to the building as "The Drug Store." We remodeled the back space into this apartment in 2021-2022. The mezzanine area, or the master bedroom, is original to the building. The added powder room is brand new, but the cabinet is very old. We are retired and rent out both the Greene St. Loft and at the 13th Street Studio, and now, The Mezzanine Loft as vacation rentals. Plus we stay in our apartments multiple times throughout the year. We manage to squeeze in time in all three apartments during the year.
Why they chose this property
My family is from this area going back into the mid 1880s. My great-grandfather, James William Jarvis, was a sheep and cattle rancher who owned property at the south end of San Juan County, as well Durango and La Plata County
What makes this property unique
This space is unique in that it is a brand new apartment located behind a retail space with one of the best locations in Silverton. The ceilings are tall, at 14', with a shorter ceiling on the mezzanine level that is about 6 feet. The windows in the unit run just under the ceiling line, with a window looking out onto 13th Street located in the master bedroom. Everything is practically brand new to include the beautiful white oak flooring, all appliances, kitchen items, furniture, towels, and bedding. An antique piano sits in one corner, and the original safe is tucked under the stairs to the mezzanine, where it has sat for many, many years.
