Spacious and cozy newly-remodeled open-concept cottage with beautiful mountain view.
- Minutes away from great hiking trails in Pisgah National Forest (10 mins), gorgeous waterfalls in Dupont State Park (18 mins), and tubing on the French Broad or Davidson River Recreation area (8-10 mins).
- Even closer are wonderful shops, terrific restaurants and the Brevard Music Festival.

After taking in all that fresh air, whip up something delicious in our fully-equipped kitchen, light a fire while watching a movie (Roku remote) with your whole family on the super-sized living room couch or play Scrabble on the jumbo wall-mounted board. In the master bedroom, relax in the walk-in shower, rest and restore in the soaker tub, or just take in a movie while nestled snuggly under the comforter on the king-size bed. Savor a moment of tranquility or discover your artistic side in the guest room with art supplies in the antique sheet music cabinet. Find the secret cubby off the kids' room for an extra place to play or sleep. And if you need to work from home, sit at a specially-made pedestal desk from which you'll enjoy the best views in the house and take advantage of high-speed internet. Play darts or board games, sing show tunes around the electric keyboard, or watch football while you work out in our the basement exercise/game room. We are long-time VRBO renters and gratefully now own our own house to open up to others. This is our happy place; we hope you find it that way too.

Comfortable and Close to Everything!

We loved our stay at Chill Hill. The welcome guide was especially helpful and we appreciated how well equipped the home was. It was great watching the kids catch fireflies in the backyard. We even saw deer come by! Super close access to all this amazing area of NC has to offer. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely home in the woods

The home was nicely laid out with nice decor and plenty of space. Very comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. A nice quiet neighborhood close to town. Very responsive hosts! I will definitely return!

Great Getaway

Had a great experience! Property had plenty of space for 4 adults visiting area for a fishing trip. The hostess was super nice and the house was very clean and convenient to Brevard. Only very minor issue was the upstairs was hot when the heat came on (in relation to downstairs). I highly recommend this property!

Fantastic vacation!

We loved staying at Chill Hill with our adult children and our pup. The house was fantastic, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Plenty of room to spread out, but a fantastic open living area where we spent evenings cooking and visiting. The kitchen was super well-stocked, and the deck was our favorite hang-out place! Beautiful views. The neighborhood was very walkable - lots of long hikes with our dog. And Brevard is a great place!

We so enjoyed our stay. Very lovely home which is well appointed with all we needed. The listing says there is a steep hill getting to the home and it is steep but our camper van made it ok. Communication has been good too !

SPECTACULAR MOUNTAIN GETAWAY

The house was ideal to host 6 adults with enough space to relax and play. We enjoyed mountain walks around the area, white squirrel sightings, visited a mini waterfall on double falls road, and overall exceptional place. The life size wall scrabble board was amazing and we enjoyed all the games in the game room. House was well equipped to meet all of our vacation needs. Must Stay! owner very communicative and responsive. Definitely will stay again!!

Perfect rental

This property has all we wanted, very clean, perfect location if you want to go the national forest, large space for a whole family and just finished decorations. Oh, Mark and Nancy are very nice and super responsive and accommodative. We actually booked a wrong date, and only realized that the week before our trip. Nancy and Mark made the schedule change so easy. I will definitely book again when I go to the national forest next time.

We LOVED Chill Hill

We rented Chill Hill for two weeks to get out of the Florida heat and couldn’t have been happier! The home was perfect for us and our Yorkie, Zoe. We loved the location of the home. The road leading up to the house was a fairly steep, but it was an easy drive to downtown, the grocery store, several breweries, and hiking trails. The kitchen was very well equipped. I had no problem cooking soups/stews for the cold, chilly nights we had. The bed in the master bedroom is SO COMFORTABLE!!! And the big soaker tub in the master bathroom was perfect to relax in after a long day of hiking. While we didn’t make use of the upstairs bedroom or finished basement, we hope to come back in the future with our adult children. There is a lot of room in the home to spread out in and lots of games/puzzles to keep everyone entertained. We had a fantastic two weeks in this home. It was really hard to leave. We can wait to return.

Wonderful home to stay at Brevard

Spotless clean, new modern amenities, crisp white linens and all the extra for a home away. Loved our stay here. We cook ourselves and Nancy had everything you need plus all those little extra that come in handy in a kitchen. Just perfect.
