About this property
Summer Fun Includes Free Outdoor Pool
Come enjoy our spacious home in the Shenandoah Valley. Nearby attractions include the Shenandoah River and National Park. A Short Drive to Harrisonburg means events at JMU are always nearby. Of course, Massanutten Resort is a true Four-Season Resort with plenty to do for everyone and this year, our guests will enjoy *FREE* access to our outdoor community pool (open Memorial Day-Labor Day, excluding days with inclement weather or unexpected circumstances).
Our home is as centrally located within Massanutten as you can be. The level wooded grounds, ample parking and proximity to all there is to do in the resort or just a short ride away make it an ideal place to call your "home away from home."
Well stocked and tastefully decorated, our home is nestled on a wooded, family friendly level lot, very close to the George Washington National Forest just minutes from all that Massanutten Resort has to offer. Whether skiing, golf, hiking, biking or just relaxing and enjoying nature, you will find our spacious, well- appointed home clean and inviting.
Nearby are the Shenandoah River, Shenandoah National Park & Skyline Drive, Luray Caverns, Historic Charlottesville and so much more to explore including local wineries & craft brewers, it's no wonder visitors from around the world find the Shenandoah Valley romantically charming. Our own "Friendly City" of Harrisonburg, home of James Madison University, Eastern Mennonite University, has nearly everything you might need. Farmers markets, movie and performing arts theatres, art exhibitions and more.
Upon entering the main level of our home, you will be greeted by vaulted ceilings with skylights and an open plan living/dining room with gas-log fireplace and a spacious, well stocked kitchen and laundry room. The split bedroom plan has the master bedroom (ensuite) with queen bed and 4K TV on one side and two additional bedrooms and second full bath on the other side. The screened porch and deck (with gas grill) are accessed from the dining area. The living room also has a 64” 4K TV, Blu-Ray player and a Boss CD/Radio player.
The lower level features a spacious rec-room with another gas-log fireplace, foosball table, 64” 4K Roku TV, Blu-Ray player with an extensive assortment of movies. There are also doors that lead to a level wooded outdoor area. The second master bedroom (ensuite) with queen-size bed and 4K TV is on one side while the remaining two bedrooms and full bath are on the other side.
We provide a generous starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, hand soap, laundry detergent and trash bags.
We also supply a full complement of bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. (Please bring your own pool/water-park towels).
Please remember, all homes in Massanutten are in a wooded/mountain community. We are all privileged to share the area with nature. This not only includes the deer, squirrels, chipmunks and a wide variety of birds, we also share the same space with black bears, snakes, mice and insects.

About the host
Hosted by Jeff Konstant

My wife and I have been here most of our lives. She was born here, and I moved here in the late 1970's all the while, Massanutten seems to have been at the center. It's where we met, it is where we work, live and play and, where we have raised our children. Our ties to the community are deep and I am a local real estate agent specializing in Massanutten and vacation rentals.
While I'm the one who has to create all this stuff and manage things, it is my wife, Sharon who focuses on making it a nice home away from home. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Why they chose this property
We chose this home because of the location, ease of access and the perfect floor plan for friends and families to enjoy. With 6-bedrooms, 4-baths, a great room and a rec room, there is room for everybody. With a vaulted ceiling and skylights, the great room is open and bright. The level wooded grounds make it easy to enjoy the outdoors and all the mountain wildlife. We hope you enjoy your stay.
What makes this property unique
We love the roominess and the location. Quiet, yet close to everything. The main level has everything you could need, and the lower level is a near mirror image. The screened porch means you can still be outdoors if it rains.
