Excellent accommodations. A great alternative to a hotel, and comparably priced. The restaurant downstairs is a wonderful complement to the loft. A very enjoyable weekend visiting my hometown.
What a wonderful space in downtown Blairsville! Sarah did an amazing job of decor and functionality of the space! Loved reading in the window space overlooking the town. Convenient to local shops and restaurants (Iron Alley was our favorite!). Great winter wonderland stop for these southerners, will be back to see the river in the summer!
The place was gorgeous and unique. We also had access to all rooms which was a big plus for our state of mind!
The town was absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a beautiful small town to get away then this stay is for you!
The loft was clean and spacious. Except for the bathroom, So small, no counter for things. Couldn't move in the shower. The location was beautiful beside the bakery, but the traffic noise was loud. No TV to cover the noise. We are older and didn't realize there were a total of 40 steps to reach the loft and bedroom. There is a wide variety of books to read, and the artistic decor was interesting.
Our family of four would normally stay in a hotel when coming to visit family in Blairsville, but this time we opted to try something different. The Bakery Loft was a great space for our family! There is plenty of room in the loft for a family to spread out so you are not on top of each other like a hotel room. You have the 2nd and 3rd floor available to you! The view from the loft was beautiful and everything was clean and comfortable. Just remember there are stairs up to the apartment. I would probably pack a smaller suitcase instead of one large one! We had everything we needed in the apartment. The property manager was so responsive and helpful! Oh and don’t forget to check out the Market Street Bakery downstairs! Everything is delicious!! The maple rolls and cheese danishes were to die for!!
I stayed here with two older kids while visiting family nearby. Sarah was very responsive and very easy to work with during all phases of the rental.
Upon arrival we were immediately impressed with how clean and tastefully decorated the rooms were. Although small, the accommodations are quite comfortable and we all loved the bookshelves. Everything in the kitchen appears new, and the place is obviously well kept. The bakery below has excellent coffee and pastries, but can get (understandably) crowded.
The only thing I’d suggest considering for future guests is to be aware that the unit faces the Main Street which is fed by Route 217. As a result there are sometimes noises due to truck traffic passing at night. That said, there’s nothing anyone could do about that and in any case it wouldn’t stop us from choosing this rental again.
In summary, this is a delightful little property and staying there was a good experience. I would have no reservations about recommending it to others.
