Otter Getaway is a beautiful cottage in a great location on Damariscotta Lake. To top it off, October was a wonderful time to be there. We loved the cottage and it's decor. It's was very well equipped and tastefully redecorated. Caylin was a responsive host. And we kayaked with loons several days in a row! What more to ask for?

We loved everything about this place! It’s beautifully decorated and feels like a home away from away. The host was wonderful and made it easy to communicate with her. The view from the deck is so pretty! I loved having a cup of tea out there and looking at the water. It was a perfect spot! We are so grateful!

The property was as advertised. Though we only stayed one night, we enjoyed the peaceful evening and morning, and enjoyed taking the kayak/paddle board out on the lake.House was very clean and the owner was very responsive to our questions both before booking and during our stay.

This home was wonderful. Very comfortable and homey. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook whatever you wanted. I wish our stay could have been longer so we could spend more time sitting on deck and enjoying the views. Will definitely plan on staying again. Check in was so easy.
