3BR/2BA Walk to Pier/Village Pup Friendly

This charming 1950s cottage is located 1/5th of a mile from the St. Simons Pier Village. An easy walk or bike ride to all SSI has to offer - wonderful dining options, shopping, outdoor entertainment and beach access (tide contingent). Within the Village, you’ll find the St. Simons Lighthouse, picnic areas, playgrounds, miniature golf and an oceanfront community pool. Massengale Park and Coast Guard Station offer additional public beach access with ample parking and beach at all tides. Both are located less than 2 miles away.

Walk through the front door into an open living area and now you are on ‘Island Time.’ The quaint, corner kitchen is well equipped with all of the comforts of home - dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and more.

Rest and relax after a fun day at the beach or exploring the Island. Guests will love the covered deck overlooking the spacious fenced in backyard. Perfect for grilling and hanging out!

Bedroom 1 - queen bed with ceiling fan.

Bedroom 3- 2 twin sized beds with ceiling fan and 32” TV w/roku.

Dog friendly with a non-refundable pet fee of $100. 2 dog max.

**We provide a starter supply of Toilet Paper, Hand Soap, Paper Towels, Dish Detergent, Laundry Detergent and One Trash Bag. (Any additional supplies needed during the stay will be the responsibility of the guest.)**

Note- There is an outdoor security camera facing the front yard/drive way.

This was our first time in the area, we visited with our 13-year-old niece and little girls ages five and seven, we had a wonderful time, everything was as described, excellent, excellent location, huge backyard, very well appointed. Five stars for sure and we hope to stay there again.

Saint Simons Island getaway

A very open, airy and comfortable property with a perfect yard for our dogs and an easy walk to the village. Lydia is an extremely responsive and accommodating host. This is our second stay here and we hope to be back!

Nice house , great location . With a 175.00 cleaning fee it would be nice to have more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom , more than one garbage bag in the kitchen , better soap in the shower and maybe ever as small bottle of shampoo .

Perfect weekend getaway!

We couldn’t say enough good things about our stay! Is is in a great location- walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and the pier! We golf carted to the beach during the day which was very convenient, only a 5 minute golf cart ride. The house was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and we enjoyed using the grill to cook out! We will definitely be back!

Frustrated

Lost power on third day of stay due to ice storm. No candles or batteries in home. Because of extend of power damage on island we left two days early.

We love SSI

First off thanks to Lydia for the great accommodations and her rapid response to all our interactions. The bag of coffee and delicious scones were a welcoming treat. The house was large bright and roomy for just the two of us and our two cats we brought from NH. We stayed 31 days and enjoyed the property but the beds were a bit too stiff for my body and I just couldn’t get comfortable. There was a bit of a dog smell but it is a pet friendly house but maybe remove a couple of the older area rugs would help that out. We enjoyed the enclosed backyard and would sit out there in the after our excursions around the island. The neighborhood is great and we walked to the village many nights for dinner and drinks. With pickle ball courts just a couple of blocks away we’d bike over and play a couple of games during the week. We did have a couple of issues but Lydia corrected the problems within a day, very responsive and on top of the situation. We’ll definitely be back to SSI and thank you Lydia for sharing your home with us.
