Our Moorings condo is like none of the others you might have seen. It is the only one in the complex that is 3 bedrooms which leads to a floor plan perfect for families or friends getaways. It is located just steps to the Dunes House where you can access the beach and Atlantic Ocean.

It features three bedrooms and three full baths. The spacious kitchen features granite counter tops and tile flooring. It is well equipped for any chef with full size oven, range, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, and stainless steel refrigerator with ice maker and water dispenser. The kitchen includes a cozy breakfast nook with bistro table perfect for two as well as an additional bar area with seating for six! The kitchen is completely open to a large and comfortable living area that includes plenty of seating, tile floors and a 50' HD Flat Screen TV with sound bar. Our Condo has an ocean view that can be enjoyed from the living area, master bedroom and two large decks with wonderful ocean breezes.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, cable, flat screen television, large closet and plenty of drawer space. The master bath with double vanities, ceramic floors and a tiled bathtub/shower combo. Sliding glass doors lead to a private deck with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the ocean view and the most amazing sunset!

This unique floor-plan designed for beach living includes two additional guest bedrooms with full baths. The first guest bedroom includes a queen bed, cable, flat screen television and a private bath. The second guest bedroom also includes a queen bed, cable, flat screen television and a private balcony with ocean views. It too has a bathroom featuring a deluxe, stand-up shower that is accessed from the bedroom or the common area.

Our condo is located in Palmetto Dunes, an award winning and private-gated community central to everything on the island. Our condo is a second level unit with an ocean VIEW! It is just steps away from the Dunes House ( about 50 yards) with access to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Seasonally Dunes House also features food, drinks and live entertainment. Also just a short stroll from our condo is a private pool with bathrooms, private to the Moorings community, for you to enjoy a refreshing swim.

Located in the resort itself you have three championship golf courses, a tennis center, and a rental center to rent bikes or canoes to enjoy the miles of paths and lagoons throughout the plantation! Be sure to check out Alexander’s restaurant and Big Jim's also in located in Palmetto Dunes.

Linens are provided for a maximum of six guests and the condo has a washer and dryer. We hope you will choose to enjoy your vacation at our condo and enjoy it as much as our family does!

***Gate passes are $25 per car for a week rental. This is paid to Palmetto Dunes Security upon arrival***

Had a fantastic stay at this condo. The walk to the beach is short, which we absolutely loved. While it seemed like there wouldn't be a lot of parking, it was actually fine. We had no trouble with always finding a space right in front of the condo. The condo is compact but the living area is a good size, as are the bedrooms. Only thing missing is a dining table, but there just isn't room for one so it was easy to make do with the counter bar stools and small bistro table. Highly recommend this property if you like to be close to the beach.

Perfect beach getaway! We had a wonderful stay at Rob‘s condo! The unit was spotless-cleanliness was truly excellent. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed making meal prep, easy and enjoyable. It was the perfect space for our family of six adults and one baby. The highlight was definitely the beautiful ocean view from the balcony-such a peaceful spot to relax. The location couldn’t be better: just a very short walk to the beach, which made it super convenient for everyone. Rob was a fantastic host-responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with our family. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Loved the location of this condo. It was minutes from the beach and the Dunes House. It had 3 separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom which made it really nice. The porches were really nice in the evening because they were in the shade. We could see the ocean in the distance above the ocean front units. We had a question about the air conditioner and where to dispose of our garbage and the owner called us right away to help us.

Great layout, clean, and short walk to beach!

Our family would definitely stay here again. Very clean and bright, great floor plan for family of six (4 adults, 2 kids), and a perfect location for beach access. The Dunes House is a great place to walk for happy hour, and the General Store is perfect for a hot breakfast and evening ice cream! This condo will be at the top of our list for next summer.

Our family had a fabulous time staying at this property in Hilton Head! The location was ideal and the property was perfectly suited for our needs! While there were some items that were missing when we arrived, once contacted, the property management team immediately responded and brought us the missing items. It was a great week!

We had a great time. 1 level. top floor unit was perfect for family of 4. Minor items need fixing but everything was great. Used the patio off the master as well and location is the best. No beach chairs or towels provided but we bought some at the store and left them for the next occupants.Owner was super responsive and helpful. We would rent again.

Family reunion

After staying previously at 2-bedroom units in The Moorings, we needed a 3-bedroom unit on this trip and this unit worked perfectly. The close proximity to the beach, Dunes House, tennis/pickle ball and golf was an added benefit. We would not hesitate to do it again.

Fantastic Vacation Rental!

This is a fantastic vacation rental unit. It is in a great location, with just a short stroll to the beach and Dunes House. Beautiful views of the ocean from the balcony. The unit was very clean and nicely furnished. Rob is very responsive and nice to work with. Will definitely be renting here again! Thanks so much!

Great place but mechanical issues

It was the perfect set up for us, but the first night the handle came off the sink. Water was spraying everywhere. There are no tools in the place. And it was obviously a handyman’s special because the shutoff valves were missing the handles. Luckily we had tools in the truck and we were able to shut the water off! It took three days to get it fixed and the owner did not do anything to make it right. He should have refunded some of our money for sure.

Open floor plan, great location in Palmetto Dunes

My party of six stayed for one week in August 2019 on my first ever trip to Hilton Head. The property was nicely appointed and appearance matched the photos online. The location of the property was excellent; the beach and Dunes House is at the other end of the parking lot and a few hundred steps away. We had a bit of initial trouble getting the various TVs to work (multiple remotes to figure out), but we eventually figured it out for the main room. We had one small issue (the community pool closed down towards the end of our stay), the owner Rob was extremely responsive in helping to find an alternative. My only quibbles would be that family meals are somewhat challenging, since the counter bar isn't really conducive to them, and that when I checked the lint trap in the dryer it looked like it hadn't been changed in a very long time. We met up with two other families while we were there, and had the opportunity to see each others' units in the Moorings. For what it's worth, everybody agreed that this unit had a much more open and inviting floorplan than the others we saw. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations and we all enjoyed the property (and Hilton Head) quite a bit!

Like any type of activity involving the water. I have been coming to Hilton Head Island since I was little and it has become my favorite place to return every year. I love trying new places to eat (check out Wise Guys, Black Marlin Bayside Grill and Skull Creek Boathouse) and just enjoy life to it's fullest!

What makes this property unique

The location of our condo is simply unique. First it is located in the award winning Palmetto Dunes Resort. There is so much to do with out even having to leave the resort area. There are three award winning championship golf courses, along with a tennis center, miles of walking trails and lagoons. Our condo has recently undergone a full remodel of the entire inside. There are sweeping views of the Atlantic ocean from our condo and you are within about 100 yards from the Dunes House to access the beach!
