And, of course, the Lake Michigan shoreline, the greatest of the Great Lakes, is only steps away. Take the tram down to the shoreline and immerse yourself in the lake life, enjoying stunning sunsets over the water each evening.

Stepping into The OAR-Chard House you'll be immediately welcomed by this home's lake-themed charm. Complemented with soothing blues, the living room showcases refinished original wood floors, adding a touch of timeless elegance in a way that invites you to unwind. The perfect spot for a morning read by the fireplace or family movie nights inside, memories are sure to be made in this space.

The brand-new kitchen is a chef's dream, featuring high-end cabinetry and beautiful granite countertops that add a touch of style. The spacious island seats four, making it perfect for casual meals or hanging out with family and friends. This well-stocked kitchen has almost anything you could need to embark on culinary adventures - with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, silverware, and cooking utensils that make whipping up anything from a quick snack to a gourmet meal effortless and enjoyable.

The master bedroom is a luxurious retreat, featuring an en suite bathroom for ultimate privacy and convenience. You'll love the spacious walk-in closet, perfect for keeping your belongings organized. To top it off, a flat-screen TV is included, ensuring you can unwind with your favorite shows right from the comfort of your bed.

The second bedroom on the first floor is designed with kids in mind, featuring a fun and functional twin-over-full bunk bed with a trundle that pulls out for an extra twin bed. This room is a playful haven, stocked with a variety of toys, a TV/DVD combo, and a collection of books to keep the little ones entertained for hours. For added convenience, a full bathroom with a tub-shower unit is located right next door, making it easy for kids to clean up after a day of adventure.

The second floor houses two delightful coastal-themed bedrooms, each designed to provide comfort and relaxation. The back bedroom offers a serene oasis, complete with a plush queen bed, a flat-screen TV with a DVD player for entertainment, and an attached bath that it shares with the front bedroom. 

The front bedroom is a charming nautical getaway, featuring a cozy full bed and a whimsical twin loft bed that adds a touch of adventure. The room is accentuated by a soaring cathedral ceiling, creating an airy and spacious ambiance. For entertainment, a DVD-only TV is included, making it the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying a good movie after a day of lakeside fun.

For your convenience, there's ample space for all your gear in the entryway/mudroom, which also features an attached screened-in porch. After a day at the beach, rinse off the sand and salt in the refreshing outdoor shower. Kids will love the swing set just steps from the porch, and the newly added fire pit area is perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying cozy evenings under the stars. A gas grill, with propane provided, is also available for your use, making it easy to prepare delicious outdoor meals.

This is our beloved vacation home, where we frequently stay as a family and love to host our friends. We sleep in the beds and cook in the kitchen, ensuring that the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals.

This charming home, over a century old, has been lovingly moved to its current site and meticulously refurbished from top to bottom.

Choosing our home for your vacation means your group can spread out and enjoy the spacious accommodations with a total of four showers, four bedrooms, and three baths. "OAR-Chard House" is well-stocked with plenty of items to make your visit easier, including bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, dish towels, dish cloths, and hot pads. Just remember to bring your own beach towels!

For cozy nights in, we have DVDs, games, puzzles, and even an oversized Connect 4 for some serious competitions. The kitchen is well-equipped with saran wrap, aluminum foil, coffee filters, paper towels, and basic condiments like salt and pepper. You'll also find dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets provided for your convenience.

*Miami Park Shoreline:  The shoreline at Miami Park can change from season to season. As of late August, the trams bring you down to an sandy area above the waterline, with stairs & steps into the lake at either end of the sandy area. The most recent photos are shared in the listing. 
Tram Access: Electric trams are available along the bluff to traverse the 90 foot bluff. The trams are maintained by the neighborhood association, and Shores cannot guarantee that trams will be fully functional every day of your stay. The association may need to close the trams to address repairs, routine maintenance or recharging the batteries that provide the power to move the platforms. Guests are asked to follow the tram operating instructions so the trams stay operational for everyone in the neighborhood
