Perched at the summit of Gold Hill, this family vacation home offers an unrivalled panorama of majestic Lake Pend Oreille and the surrounding mountain ranges. Enjoy the natural splendor of Idaho's most scenic location with pristine views from Schweitzer Mountain all the way around to the Green Monarchs. We are only five minutes from Bottle Bay Marina, providing guests easy access to one of the lake's best water sports areas to rent a boat or dock their own.



Make unforgettable memories at our unique home, which has four bedrooms, 700 square feet of deck space, outdoor dining, and a hot tub hanging on the very edge of our cliff. Our fire pit is the perfect spot for sunsets and smores.



Every room in Moosewood was designed to take in the stunning views of the lake. From the main floor master suite to the upstairs bunk room, all of your family and friends will have a claim to the best view in the house. The kitchen and dining room come fully equipped with table settings for 18, luxury appliances, and an espresso machine. A main floor laundry room features extra-large capacity machines to minimize the time and effort required to wash up after a day on the lake or hiking trails.



Moosewood has three guest bedrooms on the upper floor - one queen bed, one bedroom with 2 twin beds, and one triple bunk room optimized for play and movie nights as well as restful sleep.



Guests who book with us for a month or longer can access a private island with boat dock on Lake Pend Oreille, tennis courts, a protected swimming beach, and picnic areas.

Great view

We came for the views and weren’t disappointed. The home is well equipped, Sandpoint is pretty handy and fun, there are plenty of trails and beaches nearby to explore. Very quick and clear communication with the host.

Wonderful Property

This home was excellent! When we booked the home we were not sure if the views from the home would be as good as the photos online but they were better in real life! The home was at the end of the road and was very private. It had everything we needed and more. The size was comfortable for our group of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids from 3-12). We could have probably added a few more people if needed. The hosts were great to communicate with and everything went very smooth.

This family home was designed and furnished for maximum ease and enjoyment in entertaining. 4 bedrooms are spread across 2 levels and 3400 square feet. A spacious master suite is located on the main level with the kitchen, living room and laundry room. All guest suites, the guest bathroom and a large playroom/TV room are on the upper level.

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you'll need for meals on the deck or inside - luxury appliances and an outdoor grill as well as an expresso machine, waffle maker, blender and Insta-Pot.
