Adventure begins right out your door with an 8x20 ski room (complete with heated floors!) that makes gearing up a breeze. Ski directly from the back deck down to Schweitzer Village or take in the breathtaking alpine views while soaking in the private hot tub. Afterward, the lower-level Rec-room offers endless entertainment with a ping pong table, air hockey, and foosball, while the upstairs family room is perfect for cozy movie nights.

Perfect Place for a Ski Weekend

We had a great time staying here, and loved the weekend skiing Schweitzer. The house is an easy walk or ski to the base, and had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

Presidents week family trip

Great property for all ages with walking into the village for dinner to game night with the family. Great ski in/ out access right off the back ski room with a moderate run out into the village.

My family had a great Thanksgiving here! Great location, kitchen was very well stocked, hot tub and game room were great. We all wished there would have been a tv in the main living room . That would have made it perfect!!

Ski lodge with character

Such a fun house for a large group. Lots of room for gear on the second level. We really appreciated the large gathering space with two dining tables. It was a comfortable house with lots of character. Appreciated the cleanliness. Beds were comfortable.

Amazing stay at Schweitzer!

Had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful home on Schweitzer mountain! Me, my family and some friends wanted a nice comfortable place to stay while we competed in Race the Wolf trail run, and this house was perfect for us. It was super clean, cozy and was just a couple minutes from the village. Plus the hot tub was pretty awesome after a hard day of running! Thank you for helping to make our trip awesome!

Wonderful time!

We had 3 families staying at the Chalet ages ranging from 2-60. It had ample space and a ton of flexibility in sleeping arrangements. We had 4 cousins in the bunk room and parents in each of the three BRs. The common area was spacious and the TWO large dining tables made meals very easy. The ski in/out was simple enough once you understood the routes to take. Depending on your skill level, you'll find one that works for you. (more skilled skiers will find they have less walking). Would highly rec'd for a multi family get together.

Overall a nice stay

This is our second time at Schweitzer Mt and first time at The Behr Inn. Communication with the owner and property management was okay. They responded reasonably quick. There were some hiccups during the stay that were eventually resolved. First, the propane tank for the grill was low and I got different responses from the mgmt co. When I called they said they’ll bring a replacement, but after 15 minutes they called back saying the grill is broken and should not be used. However we were already using the grill when she called and it was working fine so made me think maybe they just don’t want to deliver the propane. At my insistence, they replaced the propane tank eventually. Second we had an issue with the hot water because there was no hot water going to the top floor bathroom and barely on the other floors, we had to tinker around in boiler room to get it working. Third, the hot tub was not full when we got there and we had to fill it ourselves, made the whole stay less ideal. The beds are queen size beds which made things difficult for those whose kids are younger and didn’t want to sleep in the kid’s room. Overall our stay was good. We enjoyed the place and surrounding areas, the house was spacious enough for 6 adults and 6 kids.

Perfect ski house

Can’t imagine a better replace to stay for a few days of skiing. Tons of room for a group to spread out in, lots to do with the game room and piano and so convenient to get to the lifts. Love staying, here and hope to come back soon!

Great group cabin

This is the second time we stayed here for our groups annual fallfest weekend. We love the property and everything it has to offer. A short walk from the village and lots of things to do in the home. Beds aren’t very comfortable and we didn’t get a response from the host when we messaged through Vrbo. We will definitely again though!

Perfect getaway for a large family

Lovely stay at Schweitzer

My wife and I spent 5 days at the Red Behr Inn along with my sister and her family this summer. This place was perfect- lots of room, great views, and easy access to the resort and things to do. The owners clearly use it, so it had all the amenities we needed. They even provided an extra propane tank for the grill. We appreciated the hospitality and would stay again.

Amazing mountain home

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the chalet! It is cozy, yet spacious, perfectly set up for a large group. The kitchen is well appointed with everything needed for preparing and serving meals. Having two large dining tables in the common area was an excellent idea. The house was clean and comfortable. The host provided excellent communication, answering any inquiries quickly. We stayed in the summer, while attending a family wedding, but I would love to come again in the winter to ski.

Great House and Location

Really enjoyed our stay here. The house is much larger than the pictures would have you believe. Ski in ski out was very easy, maybe a 30 second walk each direction to where you can ski to/from. It was a 5-7 minute walk to the base village (bars, restaurants, shops) which we really enjoyed as well. As with any ski property, the amount of hooks is very important to my rating and this place has hooks everywhere.
