Great house in a great location, near to Taos Ski Valley. The host, Gail, was great and easy to work with. Very close to town and the grocery stores. Definitely recommend.

I am glad you enjoyed my home and I look forward to hosting you again in the future. Gail
Very clean, comfortable, roomy and well stocked!. The only thing you need to bring is food and clothing. Many needed items are provided, unlike other properties i have rented. Gail is very responsive to any questions. It is quiet and secluded but close enough to everything with a short drive. It has beautiful views and an expansive porch. I hope to come back and stay in this home again.

I was so happy to hear how much your family enjoyed my home and I look forward to hosting you again. Gail
Gail was wonderful! She went above and beyond. When she saw us going skiing and knew the base lifts were closed, she came out of her house to make sure we knew. Thank goodness she did! Beautiful home. I definitely recommend!

Thanx for the great review. So glad you had a fun time in Taos and I look forward to having you come stay again. Gail
Wonderful location just five minutes from downtown. Very spacious and the house handled our crew of 8 with ease. Very private setting with tons of hummingbirds and wildlife right in your 5 acre backyard. Great family stay

I am so glad you enjoyed your family vacation and I look forward to hosting you again. Gail
A group of friends enjoyed staying here. Lots of room to roam, peaceful, quiet and lovely views. Host extremely responsive - lots of great suggestions for us. Hope to come back soon!
The house is very nice for the surrounding area. The living room could use AC to help cool the house down a little more. The bedrooms were very spacious and nice. The area is real quiet.

I am glad you enjoyed the home. I don't usually get comments that the home isn't cool enough as with the 4 mini splits and adobe walls, it stays cool. I do apologize that the cleaners did not have the air con on for your arrival. I hope you come stay again. Gail
Gail is a terrific host. All communication was seamless. Great house wonderful views and tons of room to spread out. Would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for the great review and so glad you enjoyed your stay. I look forward to hosting you again in the future. Gail
We loved the feel of the house (spacious with a nice kitchen for meals) and the location (close to shopping and restaurants). There were a few issues, however the host was responsive.
We stayed for a week to celebrate our anniversary. The location and proximity to town and other activities was great. We loved the view and the wrap-around porch. It was our labradoodle's first trip to the mountains and she was enthralled with the property. The kitchen was well stocked, too. Several nice amenities (like filtered water and nice appliances).

This is a wonderful place to stay near Taos, relax on the patio, and hang out with family and friends. The covered patio is a highlight, along with the upper balcony and big kitchen.

About the host
Hosted by Owner / Property Manager
I was born in Perth, Western Australia and moved to Taos when I learned and became hooked on skiing. Taos is a wonderful ski area in that it is challenging and the people are very friendly. After initially spending only winters in Taos, I soon realized that Taos is a wonderful place year round. I love to hike and mountain bike with friends and my dog Lilly.
Why they chose this property
I chose this property not only because the house had a nice floor plan, but because it sits on a large piece of land, close to town with amazing views as it sits up on a hill overlooking the town of Taos. It has a lot of trees, both natural and that I planted which thrive due to an acaquia that runs through the property providing lots of water in the spring and summer. It did take a lot of renovating, love and decorating to get the house and the gardens to the state they are in today.
What makes this property unique
My house will feel more like a home than a rental as I use it often for friends and family, so it has nice furnishings, bedding and will have most things you would need at your own home. As the house sits on a hill overlooking Taos to the west, the sunsets are amazing and it is great to enjoy them from the wrap around verandah. It is great to stay at such a private spot yet be just minutes from town. Come enjoy my piece of Taos paradise.
