This 100 year old house may be the nicest rental we have ever stayed in! The house was extremely clean, the kitchen incredibly well stocked with every possible amenity, comfortable beds, wonderful bed linens & down comforters, big screen tvs, very nice outdoor sitting area with gas fireplace, exercise area - and the list goes on. We would gladly stay here again & highly recommend this property.
This cottage is lovely and walkable to the restaurants, stores and bars. Grandparents, parents and two kids all enjoyed our stay. A big TV with a comfortable couch and chairs, to watch the Olympics Open Ceremony. Comfy beds. Pets allowed, and great communication with the owner. We all went skiing one day, as Lookout Pass is close. Easy checkin and checkout. Perfect weekend place for our family.
The location of this house is great. A few minutes walk to downtown Wallace and easy access to the freeway. Incredibly clean and well appointed. Super easy check in. Eric is a fantastic host.
Adorable home in a wonderful location! Within walking distance to the town of Wallace! Was a great home base to experience the Hiawatha bike trail and other trails!

The house was great! It has been nicely updated, but you can still see the original character of the home. It is on a quiet road and is in a great location to have the ability to walk to downtown Wallace. Will stay here again for sure!

Thanks for the kind words Michael! Hope you guys will visit again in the future!
We visit Wallace once or twice a year to see family and have stayed in or seen a lot of rentals in the area over the years. This is hands down the nicest one we've come across. What stood out most is that it actually feels like a home. So many vacation rentals these days feel more like hotels with a kitchen attached. This place is the opposite. You can tell the owners have put real thought, time and care into it and it has a warm, welcoming feel from the moment you walk in.The listing honestly undersells the property. The downstairs game room, loft, outdoor living spaces, fire pit area, built-in landscape lighting and overall attention to detail were all even better than expected. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with quality cookware and everything needed to prepare meals, and the bedrooms were comfortable and well furnished. The outdoor space deserves special mention. Between the patio, grill, seating areas and beautifully maintained yard, it's a great place to spend an evening. The lighting built into the retaining walls and landscaping creates an awesome atmosphere after dark. The location is also excellent an easy walk to downtown Wallace. Eric was the perfect host: clear communication, thorough instructions, available when needed, but never overbearing. We enjoyed our stay so much that we're already planning to come back this ski season with friends. That's probably the strongest recommendation I can give. If you're considering this property, book it.
