The place was so pretty, the design and furnishings stylish. It was nice and clean. The owner was super responsive to questions. We also loved to be able to walk into town. Would stay again.
Everything was as advertised, and the hosts were very responsive. Highly recommended! For skiers: We did not ski, but I was forced to rate that category.
Our stay was amazing! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook, found the barware and bigger serving dishes in the dining room buffet, place was super clean, and beds were very comfortable. It was a quick walk down the street to all the restaurants and shops. I was a little worried about the steps because I brought my 90 year old mom with me, but she didn't have a problem with them at all. She loved the view of the town and mountains from the porch. Wifi was great, I was able to do a bit of remote work with no interruptions. There was plenty of room to park in front of the house. Very nice balance of historic and modern home, will definitely come back again!

About the host
Hosted by Jayme Steinpreis
I am a local to the Silver Valley and genuinely love sharing this place with other people. I love it here because I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, kayaking & fishing & the whole "small town feel". I love giving my best recommendations for hikes, places to eat, spirits, coffee, etc.
Why they chose this property
This home is just a short walk away from Wallace and any of its wonderful events. Wallace has such a quaint, quiet, "vibey" feel to it that is incomparable to many places. The Snowhawk House sits up on a hill which gives a great view of the Bitterroot Mountains and some of the historic buildings in Wallace.
What makes this property unique
Aside from being in a Historic town, the character of the house itself is truly beautiful! The property is smack dab in the middle of a hundred adventures awaiting to be taken. From skiing to hiking, snowshoeing & sledding to biking the Hiawatha or the CDA Rails to Trails, from fishing to trying different breweries, Snowhawk House is near it all!
