Kristen was a delight, along with her children. They cleaned and washed towels, sheets prior to leaving, totally unexpected. They were respectful of house rules and treated their home as if it were theirs. They are more than welcome anytime!!!
Absolutely beautiful home! Love the fact that there are gates at both ends of the street. House was spotless! Beds super comfortable! Wish we had extra time to play with the karaoke machine! Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Thank you the compliment, I am happy that your stay was enjoyable!
Super clean, warm and smelled fresh upon arrival. Everything was in working order. Recently remodelled so feels like a newer house. Excellent host, super fast communication. Quirky little street and neighorhood are, but was fun. Many restaurant within a 5 min walk. I had no issues with noise.

Clean and updated duplex but not a fan of area
The duplex is clean, updated and well laid out. Definitely would have preferred to have some type of bathroom door in the main bedroom/bathroom. We were not familiar with the area and the noise level was rough with outdoor bars, lights and loud music.

Thanks for your review. Yes city living can be quite noisy, this the reason I supply ear plugs in the bedside drawers to help with noise cancellation.

Dallas wedding weekend
The property was clean but we needed dishwasher detergent. We could not access the property. Very stressful and started working with VRBO to locate another place to stay. After several hours, VRBO was able to reach the host and assist us in getting access. Exhausted from traveling and a horrible way to start a busy weekend

Yes that was completely my fault. I apologize for the mishap, the SmartLock code was assigned a while ago, I had no reason to think that it wouldn't work. This is the second time this happened, I will look into it with Yale. As far as the dish detergent, there are 2 different kinds underneath the kitchen sink.
Julie was very accommodating. We asked to check in early so we could head to the games. She made it happened. After seeing the traffic leaving the arena, we sked if we could leave the car at the residence until after the championship. She made it happen. It was as the picture showed. Bus route to downtown was not far. It met our needs then some.

Thank you for your generous compliments. I believe in helping any way that I can. You and your guests were a joy to host.
We felt very safe in this gated property. There are some needed repairs like the door knob on the second floor bedroom. My wife shut the door and couldn’t get out! The gay bars behind the property are very loud, and dumping glass bottles into the trash will certainly wake you from a deep sleep. Black-out curtains would be a very significant improvement too.
We came for a girl’s getaway and truly enjoyed this lovely home. The location is great for shopping or activities downtown. Lots of restaurants near by. Great little local breakfast place right around the corner is an easy walk. The coffee station in the kitchen is perfect for any coffee drinkers in the house. Bathrooms have been newly remodeled and are lovely. We stayed on a Friday night and the neighborhood was busy and highly trafficked but once we were in the house none of us heard any of the noise outside. The only information that we should have paid close attention to is that it is a second story unit and the access stairs are on the outside. It didn’t bother us to use the stairs but others might have an accessibility issue. Great parking situation and lots of privacy. We felt very secure. We will be back!

Thank you for the compliment Lori, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay.
A perfect oasis in the city. On a street of 12 slightly modernized older summer homes from the 1930’s? Complete with live oaks. Split into charming condos. This one was cozy, clean, and comfortable with a small upper outside landing that offered a great little view of downtown dallas lit up at night. The whole street was enclosed by a security fence and gates with remote opener. The neighborhood felt safe at night though and the people we ran into were friendly. We walked to the store and pharmacy and great food and pubs all right there. I would have liked an extra bedside table on the main floor bedroom and a small side table by the couch to set beverages on. Also even though the coded deadbolt on the front door worked, the knob handle is not screwed into the interior knob and comes off if you don’t pull up first. Very minor. We will be back!

Thank you for your review and pointing out the door knob. It now fixed!
Urban location in a LBGTQ friendly community. The rear of the condo faces the alley of a strip mall that has an active nightclub with music that can be heard inside the home. Easy walk to several restaurants, liquor store, & Kroger grocery, several with security guards, and a few homeless, but we felt safe walking during the day. Located on 2nd & 3rd floor of the building (access on the 2nd story via external staircase). Bottom floor master with ensuite bathroom faces the strip mall, thus gets the brundt of the music. 2nd floor bedrooms face the front & side of the house where the music is not as noticeable. Earplugs provided. Shared 2nd floor bathroom. Both baths had on wall body wash and conditioner dispensers. Easy 10-15 min drive from Dallas Love Field, so expect aircraft noise. Easy commute to downtown Dallas & other sites. Beautifully rennovated interior, tastefully decorated. Dining area has table for 4. Barstools are not particularly useful for eating as the raised counter area is narrow and will not accommodate a plate. Large capacity washer/dryer. Keurig coffee maker with pods, creamer, as well as teas thoughtfully provided. Liquid dish soap provided, but no dishwasher detergent. I would advise verifying the vehicular gate code directly with host prior to arrival as the one we received was incorrect and we were unable to reach the host right away leaving us sitting outside the gate for a prolonged period at 1am. Overall met our needs for our stay.

Thanks Jennifer for the detailed response. As far as the gate code mix up, I thought the welcome instructions would automatically populate, like it does on other sites. I should've doubled check to make sure that it did, instead of entrusting that it would. The door access code that I sent to you was correct but it was for the door not the gate. I was asleep for your late check in after 10:00pm, otherwise, I would have connected with you sooner. All-in-all, I am glad that your stay turned out to be a good stay.
