The property itself was perfect for family fun at all ages. Great yard setup and easy access to the beach. The host provided towels, bedding, cooking, and eating utensils - but unfortunately, majority of the kitchen amenities and utensils were quite dirty. Almost everything needed to be washed before use, which puts into question what else isn’t being properly cleaned between visitors? The refrigerator didn’t work properly and we had to throw away all of our produce due to it being completely frozen unexpectedly in the fridge. Our tv would not connect to the internet, preventing availability to streaming services.None of these things killed our weekend, but when you pay this much money for amenities that you expect, and they aren’t available, it makes the property not quite worth the pay. Happy to find a short list of check out duties for the end of our stay! But wish there was more clarity on how to lock up and key placement.

The two bedroom looked like a one bedroom because the closet door was actually another bedroom. The "closet door" opened into the hallway and one had to walk sideways to go to the bathroom.. One of the kitchen chairs hit 3 cut off pipes sticking out of the floor. The microwave was sitting on top the the refrigerator. There was a down angle drain right in from of the cottage front door.. We only stayed one night, July 17, and stayed with friends the rest of the weekend. The morning of the 18th we were woken up by the workmen from Chad's Plumbing and heating drilling and pounding on the common wall between unit 4 and us in unit 5.. The only way to get into bed for me, once my wife was in,,I had to crawl across the sheets and of course getting out of bed was a bit of a joke.. I ended up sleeping on the couch the one night we stayed. I think a refund of a couple nights would be in order. In the second bedroom were two lamps without shades. The place was more like a hunting camp than a cute get away.
Perfect for our girls weekend! Adorable little cabin on the lake. Perfect for stargazing, beach days and fun. Great location between Caseville and Port Austin! Had an amazing time and can't wait to come back!
Nice location with perfect sandy beach. Cabins well maintained and appointed. Managers responded quickly to questions and addressing any issues. Would definitely return!
The place is very clean and the view to the lake is breathtaking especially at sunset!! Propriety has a lot of potential and seems like the owners started to put work in it. I would definitely come back in future
