Solid stay that worked well for myself, my husband and our young kids. Beds were comfortable and the coffee bar had everything you’d need. I appreciated the kitchen and how stocked it was. Living room couch was very comfortable and my son was extremely happy about the smart tv so he could enjoy Disney! I did have to clean the bathtub with cleaning wipes before I bathed the baby and noticed that some residual hair and residue was left. Everything else was great. The updates that have been done to the house fit right in with the older nature of the home.
Lovely trip, spent many hours on the great porch watching the world go by. Peaceful and comfortable house. Had everything we needed in it. Will stay again when in KC.
Charming home between the Plaza and Westport. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed walks in the neighborhood and nearby restaurants throughout the city.
This sweet rental was a perfect place to stay for a winter weekend get away. It was cozy, cute, and tidy. Just what was needed for rest, relaxation, and convenient driving distance to all of KC’s best attractions like the Hallmark Experience! Great place to stay!
This is our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first time! It’s a charming house, so much to do in the neighborhood, and even great for dogs! Took lots of walks, and spent family time on the porch. Our toddler waved goodbye and said “bye bye KC house! See you next time!”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Nest. The house is decorated so cute and the couch... best Naps ever! It trained, so no walking but it was very convenient to everything!
Easily accessible, pleasant neighborhood, comfortable amenities
We had a wonderful stay at this property for our multi-event family reunion. The location was great because events were both far south and far north of the city. The home was cute and comfortable and suited our needs in the kitchen and also was located near several good restaurants. We had someone successfully set up their work/office in the front room on our first day there. This property was appealing to both generations.
We needed a home base for us and our dogs while visiting our adult twin daughters for their birthday weekend. This was great for that! Close to Westport and the plaza on a quiet street perfect for walking our dogs. They provided dog bowls, treats and bags for cleanup as a nice touch.
Cozy, well decorated and outfitted! Loved the extensive coffee bar, tons of spices, nice cookware and seating for 6. One of the nights our daughters made dinner for us and we had a nice meal with them and their boyfriends and watched a movie (lots of streaming options).
The floor space in the bedrooms was very limited, but we ended up each with our own bedroom. The bathroom was fairly small, but the configuration of the shower curtain made the shower surprisingly roomy and they provided lots of shelves and towels.
We would definitely stay here again.

We will not be staying at this location again
This property is not kid friendly whatsoever. In the picture of the family room it shows a rug on the floor, however there is not a rug on the floor. This made it extremely difficult with our 6 month old who likes to lay on the floor. This space is not family friendly as it is quite crammed. The floor is extremely noisy when walking on it. We did not like the security of the place, the front door is so flimsy that someone could have easily broken in if they wanted to. Both mornings we woke up to a big black bag that had crawled from the garbage disposal into the kitchen sink. We did not appreciate the "bathroom etiquette" sign. When you have white bathroom towels, that is asking for an accident to happen. You have a rental property, you should not be charged if things aren't returned in the condition they were in when we arrived. In addition, it says all over that this property is walking distance to places. Just because it is walking distance, doesn't mean you should walk. It was very interesting seeing what we saw on our way to the property. We definitely did not feel comfortable walking to anything. We do not feel this was worth the money we spent renting it.

Hi Zoey we appreciate the feedback as we did not hear from you during your stay. We did have the rug removed due to a pet stain and the new one has not been delivered so we apologize for that difference. We are not able to keep the floors from making noise as the home is over 100 years old and is represented like that in the ad. It's always best to communicate with your host prior to your stay if you have certain criteria you are looking for. We show the house with the furniture that it's in it and we in no way represent it as a large home. The location comments are personal preference as I live in the area and appreciate how walkable the home is and have no issues walking as other guests have done. The exact location of the home is listed in the ad and the address is provided upon booking so if you for any reason felt uncomfortable we would have appreciated you letting us know and we could have provided a refund or a different option. Those are just things to note if you plan on booking a vacation rental in the future.
