Michael was very accommodating to us during our stay as he allowed us to check in early and check out late due to our flight times. Great area of Kansas City to stay for a fun time!
Host is incredible. Michael provided us with a fantastic list of recommendations. He was available to assist with anything and everything once the booking started. 15/10 experience. I would definitely recommend staying at this house.
We were in town for national convention which was held at the KC convention center. The property is located 10 minutes south of the convention center and was a very easy drive. I would stay here again if I have future reasons to be in KC.
We enjoyed the property and loved rhe house. There was a generous welcome 'package' in the fridge. It is conveniently located and in a nice neighborhood. I would definitely return.
We enjoyed our stay, we were comfortable. I saw “2 bathrooms”, and didn’t realize it was a bath and a half. We made it work with just one shower. Would definitely use this property and/or this host again.
Excellent stay which made for an even better weekend
Michael was a wonderful host and made our weekend away even better! The house was as advertised, the amenities provided were lovely, and ease of communication made getting settled a breeze. The location is centralized and made for getting around downtown easy. This property is great for adults, as well as children. The host provided a pack-and-play and high chair, in addition to a fully stocked kitchen with adult and child tableware. We will definitely stay here again.
Older home with character that I love! Nice hot tub and great front porch. Needs a porch light and/or street light. It can be hard to see off the street. Great location to find food and culture!

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
The floors were filthy, furniture sank in, stairs creaked like they were coming down, doors not real secure
What an amazing house to share for the weekend!! SO close to Westport area and local eateries...Safe to walk evenings and mornings!!!
Plenty of space for my group of 8...Dishes a plenty...Basic pantry items stocked and complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate my daughters med school graduation! Thank you Michael for allowing us to have the house early Friday and a leisurely check out Monday.... We had an amazing time and made some wonderful memories...
We stayed for an evening to see a show at the Uptown. Decent walk to the venue. The property was great, beds were very comfortable, and the host left us a welcome package in the fridge. Highly recommended!
We wanted a comfortable place to host our friends birthday with some out of town friends and the property was spacious and very comfortable with great accommodations. The hot tub was a very nice addition and the house itself is beautiful!
Beautiful 150 year old home with all the comforts and amenities you could want.
Simple Check-In and easy Check-Out. Communication with property owner was great. They provided a few welcome treats on the fridge and good recommendations for local eats.
The property is located on a nice street near midtown and makes many sights very accessible.
Would stay here again.
We had a wonderful experience and our host was wonderful. The house worked perfect for
a family of 8 and gave us plenty of room for everyone. The kids enjoyed the back yard and the park that was within walking distance. We loved being close to everything! The neighborhood was quiet. Thank you for a great experience!
Comfortable stay for our family of 8. Broken blinds, over-powering cleaning agent smell downstairs. Charming old home. Good location

About the host

I have been renovating this old KC home which is 150 years old for a number of months. Many of the original features still exist (but are no longer functional) such as gas room lighting lamps.
