Surf Side Shores #1906 is an west corner gulf-front 3 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 9TH floor in building I overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1100 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with washer and dryer. There are 3 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or stand-alone shower. The gulf-side master bathroom is accessed via the bedroom and hallway. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom and the middle bedroom has an attached bathroom with stand-up shower. Sleeps 8. 21 year age limit to rent.

May 2022: The condo now has 2 king beds and 1 queen.

Surf Side Shores I and II are 9 story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Surf Side Shores has two beach side pools, one of which is an extended season pool, and small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services both buildings I and II.

This rental comes with our 'Stay and Play Package', which includes complimentary tickets to the best area activities including golfing, deep sea fishing, dolphin/nature cruise, amusement park, zoo, and movie rentals. Each rental comes with our "Stay and Play package." Some restrictions apply.

The location of the condo was great!The elevator was not busy at all.I think the condo could definitely use some updates - mostly the bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has paint peeling from the shower surround.The vents in the bathrooms do need cleaned as well.Overall - it was a great stay and we would recommend this property.

Great getaway

Overall I would recommend this property. It was so cute and quaint but still plenty of room. I love the fact that each room has its own bathroom. It makes everyone getting ready for dinner at the same time much easier. A great surprise was how short the walk was from the building’s pool area to the beach. It’s literally a few steps! I would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great unit with a beautiful view! It was clean and very spacious. The only improvements I recommend are in the kitchen. The kitchen utensils were pretty worse for wear. Many were either partially melted/damaged and so flimsy that it was hard to flip pancakes. Also, the keurig coffee maker did not work. Other than those few things, we were very satisfied!

Family vacation

Definitely smaller than expected. And a little more run down as well. Things that could easily be fixed. Small hole in wall, blinds in master and in middle room were broken, broken toilet tank lid, paint peeling in shower and on ceiling. No stopper for bathtub in master and water pressure in there was not good. No counter space in that bathroom either. Location was great! Right on the beach and not far from the mall, water park, or dining. First day there I tried to make coffee in the Keurig but it didn’t work. Within 30 minutes after contacting host, management brought a brand new one to the room. We did get a violation for leaving something outside of our door when the rules did not say that was not allowed and also the agreement we signed didn’t specify that either so I feel like that should be included somewhere if you get a violation for it. Overall I probably wouldn’t book here again but I also don’t regret staying here either.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first trip to Gulf Shores. We have plenty of rental experiences at other destinations, so we had a specific expectation in mind. The pictures were well represented for the property. The place was clean when we arrived and we appreciated the complimentary items to get us started in our stay. We took pictures of any general wear and tear to the rental and sent them right away to the company and they said they would take care of it. The staff were all friendly and all needs were addressed promptly. The elevator in the building stopped working the night before we left so we called the on-call maintenance line. Someone was out to look at it within 20 to 30 minutes, and it was in working condition when we needed it in the morning. The couch and beds were comfortable and the rental overall felt warm and inviting. There were minor mechanical issues (some of the electrical outlets could use an update, and the dryer took way longer than it should've to dry clothes) These things did not deter us from having an amazing time! We would definitely use Gulf Shores Rentals again!

Security was friendly and was a seen every day of our visit making rounds throughout the pool and garage areas. If you want shade at the pool area bring an umbrella as they only have chairs. Our condo was not clean as the floors was dirty,I found trash under the edge of the chair in the living room and bedside table in the bedroom. We loved the convinces of having 3 bathrooms. One bedroom was noticeably warmer and didn’t cook very well. The couch/hide a bed was broke down and needs replaced. The mattresses need to be replaced.
