Hawaiiana home just steps from the world famous Kailua Beach. This Hawaiiana house second of two homes of the beachfront property. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy paradise. The tropical large living room opens onto a spacious private lawn leading out directly via a secure gate beteen the two homes to a sandy walkway, steps to breathtaking Kailua beach.

A rear private courtyard lanai with 15ft x 32ft Solar Heated, Salt Water Pool complete with Automatic Pool Safety Cover and separate spa, is perfect for family and kids after a busy day at the beach. A Separate Air conditioned Studio off the Pool host a bedroom with Queen bed and a full bath.

A secure entry with an automatic sliding gate provides secure parking for up to three medium size cars.

Watch the sun rise from beach chair, boogie board, windsurf or lounge on the beach all day, or take a leisurely 5 minute walk to delightful Kailua Town for lunch, dinner or shopping, and then settle in on the private courtyard lanai with a glass of wine to watch the sun set behind the Koolau mountains. Or relax in the pool or spa at the other side of the house after a day at the beach. This is truly paradise!

The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 30 days. No one else may occupy the property during that period. We honor one reservation per 30 day period. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Perfect vacation

Hawaiian Paradise

Lovely home complete with all of the essentials. It is adequate for large group of family members (8 to 10). It is clean, neat, and right next to the beach (about 40 steps). Location is close to town and convenient to many grocery stores and lots of other wonderful shopping. The Hosts, Barbara and Harry, have provided an inspirational Hawaiian Paradise.

Everything we dreamed about!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was perfect for our multigenerational family. Every need was met for all age. Nothing was missing from Beach supplies to House comforts. Also Misty was a wonderful property manager and available when needed for questions, suggestions, or problem solving. (She even came when we accidentally caused the problem.) We have stayed in Hawaii numerous times before and this was the best beach we have ever stayed on. I would highly recommend this House to anyone looking for a GREAT vacation!

Fantastic location, amazing pool

Our family (parents, grandparents, and 3 kids between ages 7-11) had a wonderful two-week stay at this property in March-April 2022. The location in Kailua is amazing, right next to an incredible sandy beach which is safe for kids to swim in (though occasionally a bit windy, this being the windward side of Oahu). A highlight for us was witnessing gorgeous sunrises every morning, easy to get up for early during the trip due to jet lag. The house is dated but clean, great size and very comfortable for a large family. We found it had everything we needed. It’s quirky interior and exterior decorations are something we will remember fondly, even though we typically would expect a more modern design style in this price range. The highlight of the property is its outdoor living space, and especially its swimming pool. The kids just adored the pool and spent hours in it every day. It is clean, very well maintained, and comes with excellent solar heating set up. It is a salt water pool. The property is well protected, so even on an occasional windy day, it was calm and peaceful by the pool. In addition to the pool, there are also great sitting areas outside all around the house, great for getting comfy with a good book. The check-in and check-out process was easy as pie, and Misty, the host, was always available by text or phone. The property is a short walk from Kailua Market, Bob’s Pizza and Island Snow shave ice, all great places to visit. You can also rent kayaks at Kailua Adventures next to Island Snow for a great day trip. Finally, if you are into sports such as soccer or baseball, there is a great public park with night lighting a 5 minute walk to the southwest of the property, next to a Kailua Intermediate School. I believe there are tennis and basketball courts as well as a skate park in that same area. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at this property and we hope to visit it again in the future!

Our family vacation on Kailua beach was magical .

Our family celebrated Christmas and New Year’s on the sandy beach in Kailua . We enjoy spending time together . Our days were full of water activities and hikes . The house location is terrific for both water access and hiking as well as easy access to the town for food shopping and restaurants. The beach is accessed within 2 minutes by a sandy path that runs along the outside wall of house . The beach is safe for all ages with easy entrance to the water . Our daughter found a coral reef a short paddle away from the shore and was able to see turtles and eels as well as many fish . The house is comfortable, clean and has good space . It has a large master bedroom with a lovely outdoor sitting area facing the garden , an older master bathroom that could use updating but is still very functional. The other 2 main bedrooms have comfortable beds and good bathrooms . The den ( off the kitchen)has a comfortable Murphy bed and a day bed . Our 3 grandchildren shared that room . It is large with the washer/dryer area off of this room . There were plenty of pool towels available ….greatly appreciated! The small guest room attached to the garage is a few steps from the den . It is completely separate to the house . It has a queen bed and it’s own bathroom . It’s lovely . Our 16 year old grandson stayed there and loved his privacy. The pool is large , well maintained and has a very strong pool cover for security . We covered the pool as soon as the last person emerged . There is a small hot tub available off the pool . The combination of beach and pool was terrific for our family holiday in Hawaii. There were some inadequacies in the kitchen area such as a lack of wine glasses or cookie sheets etc but I contacted Misty and she took responsibility. Misty was an amazing communicator. She responds to your requests within minutes ! We met the owner Harry who showed us the house and explained the expectations for the rental . We are responsible renters who respect and follow the rules . Everyone was very friendly . We felt safe ! There is a gated parking for 3 cars and a fence around the whole property to secure the area . Our holiday was a fun one for our family . We , the grandparents , brought our daughters and their families to Kailua for a memorable holiday . All agrees that it was magical !

Kailua at the Beach!

Location was fantastic! Just a one house walk to the beach! The pool was beautiful and great for the kids! A mile from Kailua Town. The house was big and spacious enough for all us. The "cottage" is adorable! Just a fantastic rental! Misty and Donna were there to answer any questions immediately, thank you. Very convenient. Loved the pool and access to the beach.

The property was very private and was just the right size for our extended family of 10. The beach access was very nice and the kids loved using the boogy boards provided. Traveled all over the island with a rental car for a fantastic 10 day vacation!

Primo Kailua Beach Property

This is one of the best located properties on Kailua Beach. Easy access to everything. Especially our favorite beach in the world and only 30 minutes from the airport. If I were going to live in it for a long period there would be a few things I would want upgrade. We loved it. I think I only wore shoes 1 day over the two week stay.

Amazing beach access

We loved our stay at this property. It has a private gate to access the beautiful kailua beach. The kids loved the swimming pool and all the pool toys. Plenty of space for our group of 10. Property manager Misty was super responsive and helpful. Property was clean, it was a bit dated but we didn’t mind.

Unbeatable location—maybe 75 yards sandy walkway to the beautiful beach; big private pool for family fun. The house is big and comfortable; kinda worn in a beachy Hawaiian way, but it works awfully well for a multigenerational family vacation.

Location Rocks, but.....

The location of the property can't be beat. Literally steps away from the beach. Enough space for all to gather comfortably, but also enough space for personal space when needed. Loved the provided beach supplies. Pool was an amazing plus for the kids. Clean and well kept. The spa on the other hand was disappointing. You are pretty much soaking in a warm fizzy bath. The jets have no power and the temp was no where near 101-104 degrees. The property itself is very dated. Lots of clutter scattered throughout the house with questionable electrical hacks. Can't say the property was clean. We found an old Terro ant trap behind a toaster. Completely full of ants and leaking. We were told the pest control company left it, but we found it hard to believe any pest control would use Terro baits on an open kitchen counter. With that we said, we were a bit concerned that housekeeping did not find the bait to toss. Advised the manager to let the housekeeping staff know. Was told immediately after the last vrbo clients they had the place completely cleaned and then they had pest control come in after. The day we checked in, housekeeping had come to clean doors and windows because pest control was there a week before. I'd be more concerned with countertops and other high touch areas. The property care taker was also on site in the adjacent property frequently. After our 1st nights stay she asked if we had any garbage and recycling. We were leaving for the beach and did not want to go back into the house for what little rubbish we had. She said we could bring the cans out to the street ourselves if we wanted to. I told her we were told it would be done for us and left it at that.

Wonderful 3 Week Stay in Kailua!

This was a perfect place for our group. It is one house away from one of the most beautiful beaches on the planet and you can walk for miles along turquoise waters in the beautiful white, fine sand. Another reason it was perfect for us was because we had our 2 grandchildren, ages 6 and 2. We could go back and forth to the beach, and all of the tubes, water toys, beach chairs, towels, and sun umbrellas were right there for our use. The pool and hot tub were also in continual use and the pool had an automatic cover so we felt very safe and comfortable having young kids there. The house is extremely well stocked and we didn't have to buy a thing except for our food. The house is well used so we weren't afraid that the kids would ruin furniture or floors. I would definitely rent this house again.

Unbelievable location, steps to the beach

Overall, we loved the house and went to the beach every day. Misty was helpful when we had questions. The pictures reflect well reality We would love to come back in the same house Fantastic: Location (beach, grocery stores etc), pretty big rooms, pool and hot tub, kitchen has everything you need, living room is nice, garden is nice, space to park, Could improve: everything is a little old (as picture suggest), kitchen is a little messy (things don't really match, pots could be bigger for a group of 8…) Wifi is great (100M speedtest), but sometimes bumpy when too many computers/phone are on it (so we removed the phones)

Great house

Wonderful visit to this beautiful island. The house was great for our family of 10. The beach was amazing! Great boogie boarding! A perfect set up for family vacation. The location was private yet close to shoping. A great stay!

Mixed experience

The location and living space was ideal. I was disappointed in the agent. After my contacting Misty Martin for any last minute instructions, she responded the Thursday before our Saturday arrival at 10 PM by asking what property I was renting. This was not reassuring. Upon arrival at the house the cleaning person "checked us in." When attempting to cook dinner that evening, the left burner on the stove and the microwave did not function as expected. We figured out how to plug the burner into the the stove. That worked now. However the microwave had a non-functioning digital display. We could not guess what the microwave was doing and the microwave would stop working for about 15 minutes after a usage. Upon alerting Misty we were told that the parts were on order.. Finally she suggested that the microwave in an non-attached room could be used. At this time we quit asking for support. We paid premium prices and were treated as a bother. The attitude was that we should be thinking of people who would stay in the house in the future. Why would we expect to have a functioning kitchen? Over $11k for a week. What should we expect?

Enjoyed Property

We traveled to Hawaii from the Boston Area, and were delighted when we arrived at the property. The home had plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was well stocked with gear for all of our guests. The pool area had all of the toys the kids could have wanted for the pool, as well as the beach!!! The house was perfect for our our families. you could not ask for a BETTER LOCATION!!!!! The home is one house off the beach and it was sooooo convenient! The owners were very friendly and accommodating! The experience was a VERY positive one. Cant thank the owners enough for the stay! This house comes highly recommended.

Amazing Location On Kailua Beach

The house was exactly what we expected. It’s an older house, with a few quirks, but in great shape. AC kept us cool and comfortable during the hot summer weather. AMAZING location on a beautiful beach. Manager and homeowner were excellent to work with. We would return in a heartbeat.

Great location to a great beach

The house is in a great location with easy access to the beach to enjoy morning walks or just enjoy the daily beach activities. Misty was very helpful when needed. I’ve rented multiple houses in Kailua over the years as it’s a great area. The Honolulu area is too congested and commercialized while Kailua can be more relaxing with plenty of activities. As Kailua is more residential, I strive to be considerate/respectful to the local neighbors. A neighbor “mentioned” his concerns regarding the short term rental law changes. To be clear, there were no issues with this house or my rental agreement but future renters in Kailua should be aware of the ongoing discussions around the law changes. Back to the house, plenty of room to accommodate the 9 of us. Plenty of pool accessories so everyone could enjoy the pool when not on the beach or at diamond head or golfing at royal hawaiin or other hikes. I would rent this house again.

Location, Location, Location - Can't be Beat!

In short, and to keep information up front in a review, this is a property I'd recommend to family and friends when accommodations are needed for a larger group (8-10). If we ever travel to Oahu with a group again (we had 8), I definitely would consider this property. The location of the property was exactly what we were looking for in our 10 day stay. Mere steps from the beach! The security of the property, with the security wall, was fantastic and much appreciated. The property itself was equipped very well for beach activities...lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and coolers. They were used extensively by our group of 8. With Kailua and Lanikai beaches so close... The house itself, though older, is in pretty good shape and set up perfectly for larger groups. The only suggestion would be to update some of the kitchen pots, pans, and utensils. Overall, one of the nicer homes we've stayed in on Oahu. Again, this is a property I'd recommend family and friend use if ever in Oahu. Being on the "other side" from Honolulu is one of the main attractions if you are there for rest and relaxation.

Amazing location and spacious home!

This house was spot on. The location could not be any better. Beach access right outside the home which takes you right to the outstanding sandy Kailua Beach. It is walking distance to a local convinient market (Kalapawai Market) with great coffee and sandwiches. The pool was a plus and great to enjoy while the family BBQ's. The home was equiped with everything we needed and really spacious for our family. I would highly recommend staying here for your Island vacation!

Fabulous Location and awesome heated pool!

Perfect place for our vacation get away. It was our home away from home. The home was complete with everything we needed. Having a heated pool was an extra plus. The house suited our family of 8 perfectly. We enjoyed family time in the game room at night. The location was spot on, just steps to the beach. Definetly recommend this home!!!
