Ohana Beach House - 5 Bedrooms - Steps Away from Kailua Beach

Just steps from one of the most beautiful tourist-free beaches on the island of Oahu, this Hawaiian style home is a perfect peaceful getaway for your extended family. Listen to the waves crashing as you relax on the lanai, or barbeque for your group in true outdoor Hawaiian fashion. The house provides what you and your family need to relax, play, cook, and retreat. Open and airy, the Ohana Beach House provides large social spaces for your group to comfortably share their vacation together.

**The upstairs is not available to guests as that is our private family space. We will never be in that space while you are staying in our home.

A very short 100 yard stroll on the private access path takes you to the world-renowned five-mile stretch of Kailua's white sand beach. Voted by Conde Nast publications as one of the most beautiful beaches in America, Kailua offers soft sand and crystal clear waters, making it a perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming, and an array of adventures.

Only five minutes away is downtown Kailua, where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants, golf, hiking, and sightseeing.

Easy check-in and good communication with the host. The kitchen and entire house had everything we needed! It was such a bonus to be so close to the ocean. My family went to the beach every morning and afternoon. It was the perfect house to have a family reunion (people of all ages, from late 60s to young kids).

Good stay

It was a good stay at this property. Other than not having enough toilet paper initially the stay was good. Lots of things at the house to keep you entertained at the house as well as the beach. Great location to beach as well.

First Hawaii trip for grandson

Had stayed here 11 yeare ago and it was the perfect place to bring my family. Plenty of space and toys for our grandson to enjoy on the spacious backyard. Close proximity to the beach was fantastic! A great time was had by all!

The property was perfect !!! Very clean and very comfortable .. whole family had a blast and our 3 yr old grandson loved the back yard and sand toys . This house has it all !!!

Perfect location!

The house is just a brief walk to a semi private beach and only a scenic 25 minute drive to most everything you would want to do on the island. The house had everything we needed to a day on the beach and a nice patio for evening relaxing. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Beautiful and convenient location

This was a beautiful neighborhood. Very quiet. You can hear the waves at night as you lay in bed. The beach was maybe. 2 minute walk away. Great for the kids to swim and boogie board. I would highly recommend this house, it had all the amenities you could ask for, clean and no bugs.

Ohana house is right

Right for a large family stay with 5 bedrooms, 5 minute (max) walk to Kailua beach. Large family room, great lanai and private yard. And plenty of beach gear available. Quiet neighborhood with the loudest noise at night being the onshore wind through the trees.

OHANA BEACH HOUSE

Lovely house, very roomy. Great location, the beach is very close. Charcoal grill very handy, kitchen stocked nicely with dishes, glassware, pot and pans etc. Boogie boards, large coolers and lots of other beach equipment. The cost per day very good for a place like this. Would differently recommend. Only negative i can think of is that ac is not in all the bedrooms. Rich and fanily

Right next to beach, plenty of room, well stocked

My friends and I had a fantastic time at this property. The location is fantastic. It is so close to a gorgeous beach that is not busy at all. Waking up and walking to the beach to watch the sunrise was unforgettable. The accommodations were great. I went with a group of seven (two couples and three singles) and we easily had enough room. Additionally, the house was well stocked with beach towels, chairs, beach equipment, and bedding. The kitchen had everything you could need if you wished to cook for a large group, though the oven was a bit small. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and hope to be able to return.

Wonderful Beach House

Mahalo Jen for creating such a beautiful, thoughtful and well-equipped vacation rental. The house is lovely (and we were especially grateful for the A/C unit in the master bedroom--since our trip was in August), well-furnished and equipped with every imaginable amenity: from beach toys, surfboards/boogie boards, and kitchen utensils to thoughtful touches like hair dryers, charcoal and lighter fluid for the bbq and plenty of fans throughout the house to keep it cool. My 3 boys, ages 6, 9 & 12, had an absolute blast. The beach access was much closer than we thought it would be. Literally just a few steps away! I would highly recommend Ohana Beach House!

The perfect location

This home was the perfect space for our family trip to Oahu. The beach is very close, and it’s a phenomenal beach. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood in my favorite part of the island, and anything we needed was easily accessible. The home was tidy and very well stocked. Included was a binder full of tips and recommendations that we found very helpful. We did see a few bugs while there, but this is Hawaii and that’s normal. I was honestly surprised we didn’t see more than we did. Any and all communication with Michael was very prompt and helpful, he was a very accommodating host who worked with us to be able to check in early due to our flight arrival time. Our group of 9 adults thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and felt very at home. I can’t say enough how glad we are to have stayed at the Ohana Beach House!

All the comforts of home, don't buy a thing until you've taken inventory of the cupboards!

Don't pack beach stuff, just bring your suit! There are easily 18 beach towels, beach toys, large totes, boards, beach chairs, small child flotation vests, umbrellas, left over flip-flops, & a cooler. The kitchen had laundry supplies, a bevy of sunblocks, and spices. Charcoal and lighter fluid were leftover so we grilled and ate outside under the lit patio and played bocce ball. To keep the sand out of the house, come in through the side gate and use the hose or outdoor Tiki style shower! It's nirvana - keep your shampoo/soap and a towel out there to rinse off sand and suit! Four stars because only 3/5 rooms has AC. All rooms have multiple fans. Ocean breeze is heavenly. Safeway is 0.6 miles straight down the road and Longs Drugs/CVS and Whole Foods are about a mile the opposite direction. Longs has everything beach you need. For military ID holders, register your car at Kanohe MCAS main gate, the back gate to the commissary and NEX is about 10 minutes straight down the road. I would stay here again. Susan Z.

Perfect Family Gathering

The Kalama Tract home had a perfect layout to accommodate our family. My husband & I enjoyed staying in the separate bedroom & bathroom. The backyard was safe & fun for the kiddos. There were lots of toys, games & books for the little ones. Loved hanging out on the lanai morning & night. Kailua Beach was a few hundred steps away with easy access. Used the boogie boards almost daily. Would highly recommend this rental!!!

Perfect Holiday Getaway

The Ohana Beach House was absolutely PERFECT. It was such a lovely space for my family--young and old--to reunite after not seeing each other for over a year (due to the pandemic). Clean, spacious bedrooms & bathrooms, a huge backyard for the kiddos to run around, and nice patio furniture to enjoy a nice meal or cup of coffee, not to mention the house is a VERY short walk to a gorgeous beach. Highly recommend making a point to see the sunrise. It's literally just a min or two walk from the house so no excuses! House is well stocked--tons of sunscreen, beach toys/towels, shampoo/body wash and more! Most importantly, Jen is extremely responsive and kind. 5 stars all around!

Wonderful Kailua Getaway in Oahu

My family (6 adults, 1 teen, 2 children) loved our vacation at this beautiful property. It was a 1 minute walk to the beach which was a big hit on lazy days. The home came equipped with everything we needed and we had an easy time using the kitchen to cook family meals. We would definitely stay here again for future visits!
