Condo is located on second floor and is literally steps from the beautiful blue green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Free trolley that takes you anywhere on the island. Grocery and restaurants very close. Condo is located approximately 20 minutes from Sarasota, 30 minutes from Ellenton Outlet Mall, and 45 minutes to the Tampa Bay area. Absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was clean with everything we needed. Beds were extremely comfortable, washer/dryer was great, everything we needed for the beach was provided. Can’t beat the view! Easy walk to historic Bridge St and other restaurants. Stairs up to unit were very narrow, but overall the unit is great! We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice and Clean

Very nice, well stocked apartment. Great view and location on the beach. Only downside, and not a major one, is the size of the bathroom, and not great water pressure or temperature in the shower. We would rent again.

Small property 100 feet from white sand turquoise beach. You can hear the surf from the condo. Sunsets on the deck or sitting on the couch. Walking distance to everything. Condo has everything you need for your stay. Great communication by Bernie as well. Would stay again!

Amazing stay

Easy check-in, host was responsive, place was clean and wonderfully updated. Couldn't get a better location. The beds were super comfortable, washer and dryer worked fine, at first glance the fridge seemed small but fit everything. It takes a bit to get it cooled down, but once it was it was great. Don't let this deter you as it didn't get warm enough to spoil any food, and we cooked there 2 of our 3 nights. You can't go wrong with this place, we're heartbroken it's already booked next year!

Father's day vacay

The house was clean and the location was just perfect, but the dryer was broken (and from previous reviews looks like it has been broken for a while) it made my experience not as good as it could have been, I had no where to dry my clothes, my baby girl made a mess in the sheets and I couldn't wash/dry it, I had to hang my wet clothes throughout the house for it to try, ut was a MESS!!!!! Next thing ---- the refrigerator, please be aware there is not an actual refrigerator in this home, just two drawers one working as a freezer and one as a very small fridge, so if you eat alot like me and my family you are in trouble, they also have a wine fridge but that thing didn't feel like it worked so I had to buy ICE every single day so my daughters milk would stay cold. I'm a regular VRBO user and this home was far from my favorite, also the owner tried to charge me $50 for taken towels (I obviously didn't take them) mine were new and wayyyy better, thankfully he later apologized and cancelled the fee.

Perfect view, worst bed ever!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights. This condominium is very well put together, clean, and has just about everything you need. The quietude and view are to die for. Before booking this unit, I inquired about the comfort of the king size bed. The owner said that he had a lot of great feedback from past tenants as well as personally told me it was a pillowtop and very comfortable. CAVEAT EMPTOR, this bed was equivalent to sleeping on a slab of concrete. We unfortunately wouldn't stay again in this particular unit due to the fact that we are in so much pain from this bed. The shower has zero water pressure and doesn't really get that hot. I have long hair and was unable to successfully shampoo and condition my hair properly without spending 20 or more minutes to do so. Upsides were, the view, cleanliness, a big wine refrigerator, great air conditioning, and a short walk out to your own little strip of heaven on the beach. downsides were, very firm bed with NO GIVE, 2 small refrigerators and freezers vs. only 1 normal size, the cookbook for the t.v., dvd player., and cable was lost and took us 10 or more minutes to dig it out of a drawer only for it to be confusing and out of order. No water pressure in bathroom and could be hotter. Not sure why the owner communicated to us that this bed in the master is comfortable even in the slightest. Maybe he hasn't slept on it. We did enjoy the location and loved our time on the beach and sitting outside.

TV internet connection was bad. It is a known issue with Samsungs. We were surprised about the small fridge. I dont remember seeing it in the description, but it worked out great. Tile work in shower is par, tub is peeling, outlets need to be updated. We have stayed at Shell Cove multiple times before. Will do it again.

The location is excellent, and the building features convenient outdoor showers. The unit is well-stocked with plenty of kitchen essentials, beach gear, and towels. Most importantly, it was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The reason for not giving a 5-star rating is that the shower water was extremely hot and difficult to adjust. However, we contacted the owner, and he was very responsive and attentive.

This property has amazing access to the beach with fabulous views. I appreciated the extra touches like night lights, beach accessories, and water pitcher. The bathroom is dated, but otherwise everything is clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy.
