Welcome to the ultimate in contemporary desert living in the Dakota Community in desirable South Palm Springs. This spacious, airy house is situated behind a separate security gate with one other home for privacy, quiet and a spectacular view of the beautiful desert landscape. We are just minutes from downtown Palm Springs and close to convenient shopping.

This designer home features the latest in upscale finishes, fixtures and furnishings including wood-paneled walls, wallpaper and window treatments. Bi-fold doors open on to a beautiful outdoor entertainment area that includes a spa, a pool with a sitting bridge, a built in sitting area, a gas barbecue and outdoor dining. The yard nestles into an area of unspoiled foothills for stunning views.

The great room features a formal dining table for six as well as an art television and Sonos sound system. A half bath is on the first floor and a den/office area with a desk is on the second. The kitchen features upscale appliances including a Viking gas stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.

The home sleeps a total of six guests. The main house has two master bedrooms, each with king beds, televisions, en suite baths and walk-in closets on the second floor. The detached casita sleeps two more with a king bed, full bath, closet and beverage fridge.
The attached garage fits two cars.

The house rents for a minimum of 29 nights and we prefer rentals that start and end on or near the first of the month. In the cool months, guests have the option of heating the salt water pool and spa with an additional energy deposit — please inquire for more details.

The cleaning fee of 590.00 includes one mid-stay clean. For stays of more than one month, we will need to arrange other mid-stay cleans.

To insure that guests follow recommendations to save energy, specifically electricity for air conditioning, we will collect an energy deposit of $1,000.00 to be refunded after guest's stay and will document use of electricity.

Great property. A few things didn’t work quite right upon arrival but were corrected. Also, we did experience an outdoor gas leak which was safely handled and corrected in a timely manner. We would recommend this property to others. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely stay for the month of March

Beautiful modern property with gorgeous views. Fully stocked with everything you could need. The Super Host was outstanding. So friendly and attentive. Walking distance to downtown and many restaurants and bars. Pictures are completely as is.

First of all, Clark really is a super host. He got back to me in a timely manner with any questions I had. I did have a concern with the property because there were no reviews on VRBO and Clark had me go to another site where there was a review. My experience was pretty much the same as the review on the other site. All great! I am familiar with The Dakota community since I have rented there before, and I love the location. This particular property has a separate casita that gave us a third bedroom for friends who came to visit us during our stay. They loved staying in it. The property is in a convenient location. We were able to walk into town, great restaurants, stores and hiking trails. This property is stunning. We spent many hours enjoying the backyard. We liked the outdoor shower. The furniture is comfortable and we had the pleasure of seeing the big horn sheep a few times. We used the spa at night and enjoyed stargazing. The home is decorated beautifully and the bedrooms are big with comfortable mattresses. We didn’t do a lot of cooking, but when we did, we had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The kitchen is definitely well stocked. They even had a coffee grinder and a French press. We highly recommend staying here.
