Just 25 minutes from Hermann, Missouri, and 20 minutes from Augusta Wineries, you'll find the Treehouse on the Katy Trail—a charming blend of modern farmhouse style and historical charm. This fully renovated 100-year-old home is surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Missouri River Valley, offering a truly memorable outdoor experience. To further enhance your stay, a portion of all proceeds will support Magnificent Missouri, a nonprofit dedicated to celebrating and preserving the Katy Trail.

If you're traveling with a furry friend, we welcome small to medium-sized pets (up to 40 lbs) for a fee of $25 per night. Please note that due to insurance policies, certain dog breeds cannot be accommodated, so we ask that you inform us of your pet's breed and size when making your reservation.

The Bur Oak was so precious and clean. It’s a perfect place for a couple looking for some alone time. The host has thought of everything you may need. They even had extras like pizza in the freezer and beer and pop in the fridge! My husband and I highly recommend the sweet VRBO on the Katy Trail!

This house was super cute and very clean! The owners also included nice little extra touches like providing coffee, tea, drinks, etc. The owner was incredibly responsive and we had a great experience!

Big charm in a little town!

This property was spectacular for us. Perfect location just a mile from our daughter, in a safe and charming country town. Great amenities nearby including eateries, wineries, a market, and hiking/biking the Katy trail. The home is very comfortable with lovely decor and charm. The hosts are the most attentive and welcoming people who go the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect! They are pet friendly and provided all the creature comforts for my pups too! They even provided above and beyond ‘comfort’ for us after our long drive from FL. They truly are the nicest hosts I have ever rented from. The home is well equipped with everything you need. From the coffee to the provided beverages and frozen pizza….they really do think of everything to make you feel right at home. Scott and Katy are truly great hosts. Would rent regularly if we could!! Thanks so much for making the week wonderfully comfortable. We will be back!

Cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed in! Owners were amazing and thought of everything! There were four us and we had a great time and had plenty of room. Can’t wait to go back.
