About this property

Pristine New Modern Bungalow At the Base of The National Forest; 1 Acre of land

Welcome to the Marmot! A New-Construction Modern Tiny House on an Acre of Land at the Base of National Forest. Literally walk to the lake, eateries, or the beautiful hike/bike trails to reservoirs, overlooks, and boulder fields. This 500 sf retreat has a quiet bedroom sporting a King bed, an adjoining bath with walk-in shower, washer/dryer and an open bright kitchen, dining and living room area. There's also a covered Patio with a grill to relax on and take in our spectacular starry nights. The Marmot is a perfect quiet retreat for two. Due to the home’s size, no more than three overnight guests, please. There is only one king bed and a third guest would need to bring a cot, blowup or sleep on the loveseat. Please inquire and request set-up before with us if you would like the travel crib provided or kids books/toys to be put out. Please check the pet fee line if bringing a pet so we can pay the cleaner for the extra cleaning time. Thank you!

A custom home builder for 30 years. This was a refreshing project that was so small and simple it was fun to build and create a small retreat just for two. It was an acre of land that overlooks the quaint town of Palmer Lake that boasts some amazing restaurants and bars. This little gem sits at the base of the famous Palmer Lake Star.
