Notes to take into account: --October-May we can have snow storms. Please be aware you may need 4-wheel drive. Check the weather for Cascade-Chipita Park as it can be very different from Colorado Springs. --We are also in a forest fire area, so fire bans may occasionally happen. The timing of this is out of our control. This may mean not being able to use certain fire features or our grill. We will try to let you know during your stay if there is high fire danger and what cannot be used. --Riverhouse South doesn't have A/C, but at this elevation you rarely need it! It stays much cooler at 7,800 ft and open windows at night keeps it comfortable

My stay was awesome! Would definitely come back. Loved the little creak in the back and the hot tub was top tier! The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Host was responsive as well when I had a question :)
This place was great for two people. We had a lot of room to ourselves and there were thoughtful touches throughout the house. It had everything we needed and was very cozy!
Had an amazing stay. Very clean with all the essentials. The outside deck was a great place to cookout and relax. Hot tub was amazing to use after exploring the area. I would definitely recommend.
My teenage daughter and I had a lovely getaway in this beautifully equipped home. Outside and inside this home is nicely done. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, and watching the creek behind the house.
So peaceful and relaxing! We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and even took a stab at the cold plunge tub! you can tell that the owners take pride in their properties from the overall ambiance and modern yet cozy decor down to the attention to detail. Everything from toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, dryer and other toiletries. They even provided robes and had yoga mats and essential oils to heighten your experience. So beautiful and relaxing! They also check in on you to make sure everything is up to your standards. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to explore their other properties!! 10/10 experience!!!
Very nice place, probably only big enough for two. All the amenities you need to pack a bag and go. Nice hot tub and grill on the patio overlooking the trees and river. Great place to stay.
Loved this property for my husband and I. Would stay here again. Quiet area, we saw some deer by the creek as well. I loved the decor. :) bed was comfy and the home had everything we needed.
Everything was in good condition and hosts were very welcoming! Full kitchen with washer/dryer made it seem like home. A little noise from the highway as explained in the description but hardly noticed even outside. Will refinery come back!
Situated between Woodland Park and Colorado Springs, the house was a perfect base for exploring the Rockies around Pine’s Peak, Mainitou Springs, and the Garden of the Gods. We loved the privacy, the hot tub, and the well-appointed kitchen. Perfect for the two of us.
This property was in a great location. It was an easy drive to many activities & grocery store. We enjoyed the hot tub every evening. Kitchen was well stocked. Was a nice place to relax on back patio.
River house was exactly as described. Often, places are put together in the most economical way, but this property was very thoughtfully and well put together. Really enjoyed our time.
Everything about our stay here was perfect. The property was very clean and there wasnt anything that the hosts didnt think of. The little stream in the backyard was beautiful and the sound would lull you to sleep while resting in the hammock beside it. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was awesome. Everything about the place is as gogood as it gets.
The place is beautiful, quiet, very clean, and so well thought-out. Anything you could need is provided for an stress-free stay. We should have stayed longer honestly! We couldn’t get the fireplace or the sauna to turn on unfortunately, and we’d made a decision to go contactless/phone less since we were self-solemnizing, so we didn’t reach out to the hosts. I’m sure the would have been helpful.
