This is the second time I’ve stayed here - this time with family and we had a great time. It’s a fantastic A-Frame - you have everything you need and the host is super responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at this A frame. The location is convenient and quiet. The listing was exactly as pictures showed. A few small things missing like wash cloths, and

Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
Family friendly. Nice Balcony. However, room was not cleaned properly. Too much dust. Nose irritated. Few broken chairs. The manager should visit the property and upload new photos.
The cabin was beautiful with plenty of space, and amazing view. Responsive owner when we had trouble turning on the heater. Comfortable beds, clean and cozy. Deducted a star because while the kitchen was very nice it wasn’t furnished for cooking like other VRBOs. Missing salt and other basic spices, oil/butter, containers for left-overs. Also there wasn’t extra toilet paper or paper towels. Just what existed when we arrived and not full rolls. Agree with other reviewers about the only TV in bedroom, and the walk up to the front of cabin a tricky especially at night.
A beautiful, cozy cabin with a fantastic view. Comfortable and conveniently located. Hosts are fantastic and very responsive. Kitchen and bathrooms recently redone. Very clean.
Very cozy, extremely clean cabin that was great for a family getaway. The kitchen and bathrooms seem to be recently redone. Very comfortable beds. Fantastic location a couple of miles outside of Idyllwild. Close to multiple hikes and the Idyllwild Nature Center. The deck would be amazing during the summer. Owner is very responsive.
We truly enjoyed staying in this cabin for the long holiday weekend. It is very well kept, clean, and neat. It had all the essentials one would need. My only suggestion for future guests would be to bring a flashlight for your after dark trips back-and-forth from the house to your car.
We just enjoyed three very relaxing days at this beautiful property sitting by the cozy wood furnace, playing games, eating, and enjoying vinyl records. The house is stylish and comfortable. The setting is peaceful. Nathalie is a fantastic hostess. We got snowed in, and she was super helpful! We will be back!

Thank you for the super nice review Isabel ! You are a fantastic guest , it was a pleasure hosting you :)
My husband and I went for our anniversary! It was raining the whole weekend so I didn’t get to see the stars but the rain was relaxing! I, as many, recommend getting there early; as it gets dark by 5pm and due to clouds it was dark by 2pm. Had a little trouble figuring out where to find keys lol but that was due more so to me not remembering a lock box is literally where you find keys haha. The directions for checking in and out were very clear! The driveway is a little steep but cute and personal, thankfully it is marked so you know it doesn’t belong to the property next door. It was a little eerie for us city folk at night with just the two of us and it being so dark in a 3 bedroom but that is what we had wanted was solitude away from the world it just took some getting used to. The decor is beautiful! I love the floors, the lighting, I literally told my husband that we need to go get rid of a lot so we can just live simple as we did here! The property owners have little things here and there that make it feel like you were thought of. Overall it is literally the best stay I’ve ever had and memories that will last forever and the town was beautiful as well. Hope to book again soon! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!
This A-frame house near Idyllwild is nice enough but is not what I would call 5 stars (having stayed at other 5 start VRBO properties). The house was large and clean, but did need some work (e.g., chipping paint). In addition, there were no special "things" that pushed it to that Excellent rating; e.g., a welcome note, etc. Also, one should be aware of 3 VERY important things not mentioned in the listing. One, to get from the driveway to the stairs shown in the photo is a steep, dirt/stone path. This was so hard for my elderly mother-in-law that, once she was able to make it into the house, she LITERALLY never left for 4 days! Two, there is only a single TV in the entire property in the "main" bedroom. It is small but does work. However, if everyone wants to watch a movie or the like, be prepared to move it and set it up in the living room.Three, if you want to use the wood-burning fireplace, be certain to bring your own wood, starters, etc. Nothing is provided! So, overall, the property was nice enough, but I would struggle to call it excellent. I think Good is the appropriate rating for this property.
It was a wonderful way to spend our Thanksgiving break. It was a lovely A frame that was decorated nicely. The only thing I could ask for and maybe because I like to stay up reading is a little better/brighter lighting in the living area. Other than that, it was just lovely.
Easy to get keys. Recommend backing into the driveway. If you plan on cooking, bring your own must have seasoning, oil, zip locks, saran wrap, and your favorite pan will make cooking a lot easier. Once heater gets going, warm and cozy. For 2 people it was enough room to hang out on the sofa. If we had more people, we'd have to sit on chairs and floor. I like to lounge on the balcony for hours and was glad to have brought my own lounging chair. Out door table and bench great for eating outside when it's warmer. Dog loved the cold stone floors and small enclosed side yard made it easy for potty time. If you're planning on sleeping in, bring eye mask. Lots of bright beautiful sun. Wished there were curtains in the living room since you can totally see in at night. Overall, we loved hanging in the cabin.
I had such a lovely trip to Idyllwild and this cabin was the perfect place to stay!! It is modern, yet cozy, and I loved the A-frame architecture. I spent mornings and evenings on the deck which was so beautiful surrounded by trees and relaxing! Everything was clean and you have all the basics you need in the cabin--plus records and a telescope if you want to use them. It's about 3 miles into the cute, quirky downtown and about 3-6 miles to some beautiful hikes. I would definitely come back!!
