We loved this place. It had so many areas to sit and visit like the deck and gazebo and the front porch and large table in the dining room. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. We liked it so much we talked about staying there again next year for our annual girlfriends getaway.
We were looking for a house to accommodate our nuclear family for an extended family reunion. This was right on a branch of the lake in Lindstrom and close to Lindstrom downtown opportunities. Would come back again.
The cabin was so nicely appointed and had everything needed. The deck, yard and lakeside was beautiful and peaceful. We had room for croquet and badminton when we were playing in the lake.

Thanks for the stay, it sounds like your family had a great time, was there any reason the stay didn't meet a 5 star rating? Thanks.
Lovely remodeled home with plenty of space to be together while still offering private space when needed. Great having bedrooms on second floor and basement, so little ones can have quiet napping space. LOTS of great toys for little ones and a one-of-a-kind breakfast gazebo. Can't say enough!
Was a great trip…all kids had their own space as teens love but also plenty of room for family activities. Nice relaxing lake view and close to a variety of local dining.
Great location, close for shopping and getting out at night. Lots of room for our group. And close to home which was nice even though it seemed up north.
Beautiful place with everything a person would need. Wish we could have had time to enjoy the lake. We stayed for a 2 day wedding. We would love to come back!
We had a great time over Memorial Day weekend kayaking, hiking and relaxing in the beautiful yard. Jordyn was very responsive to any and all questions. Thanks for a great stay!
Six of us stayed for a wedding at Bloom Lake Farm. There was enough room for everyone to have a bed or a comfy couch. The host was great with the check in process and answering any questions that came up along the way. The kayaks and paddle boat was nice to have.
House kept us cool while temps in 90’s. The pictures don’t do justice to the lovely pouch on 1st and basement. Our family aged from 75yrs to 10 months. Great stay and all members enjoyed their time on vacation
The house was exactly as advertised. Plenty of beds, nice and clean, well-stocked. The only issue was one we were warned about ahead of time and the owner can’t do anything about - there isn’t much parking. It was a great weekend.
We had a great time at this lake house! The host was very responsive and quick to remedy or help. The house was spacious and comfortable but the yard and the lake was the star! We had enough room to eat, play, and relax in the back yard looking out at the lake. The hosts provide kayaks and paddle boat to use on the little bay. We rented a boat from a local place called Shawn’s to enjoy the bigger part of the lake. Overall a really nice experience.
We enjoyed our stay although the kids and adults fishing every day only caught the smallest fish I ever saw on a hook. They did enjoy it however.
The surrounding towns and restaurants provided us with everything we needed as well a the grocery store not far away. We visited a couple wineries and breweries as well as a ride on the St Croix falls river cruise.
Everyone had a great time until it was time to say goodbye.
Thank you for the great accomidations.
We used this for a three-day, three-generation family retreat, for which the property served well. The second floor has three bedrooms, the basement two, and the main floor just living room (large) and kitchen. It looks like it might once have been a duplex. (The lower unit has a sink and a microwave which may once have been a full kitchen, although it has no stove, refrigerator, or dishes now.)
There's an ample master bedroom on the second floor, but the others range from relatively small to cramped. All of the bedrooms have double beds except one on the three second floor bedrooms with only a single bed. Several of the bedrooms lack closets or much other storage space; a few more hooks on walls and/or doors might help.
The owner was extremely responsive to our inquiries and our requests. It was a pleasure to work with her.
The relatively affordable price, at least at this time of year, offset the minor inconveniences, and we would seriously consider a repeat rental under similar circumstances.
It was the off-season (early April, but still lots of melting snow and mud), so I cannot comment much on the lake or waterfront.n
Overall we were pleased with the place and might well use it again in the future.

Hi Chip. Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure hosting you and your group. We hope to host you again soon! I just wanted to clarify a few things to avoid any confusion. There are 3 queen beds, 1 king bed and 1 twin bed. There is also a dresser provided in each bedroom for storage as well as a closet in both upstairs rooms for hanging purposes.
We would love to have you stay again during the summer so you are able to enjoy the patio and beautiful lake!
We spent May 5th to 7th at Jordyn’s lake home for my husband’s 61st birthday. We wanted to “get away” without having to board a plane or drive 200 miles. We invited my best friend and her kids along with our 11 year old nephew and our 13 year old dog, Mabel. The property is in a residential neighborhood so the neighbors are kind of close by but that would be the only negative thing I have to say. The home is spacious and clean with an amazing water view and a lovely deck and gazebo. There is a gas grill that we used to barbecue on Friday evening. There is a fire pit very close to the lake shore with great views of the waterfowl and busy beavers that were so fascinating to watch. There were plenty of spaces for people to do their own thing and a great living room for gathering. I personally loved the sun porch and the gazebo on the back deck. The beds are comfortable. There are televisions in every room so no fighting over TVs with the kids. The best part is it is pet friendly so we could bring our senior dog with us. She is part of the family and I would have hated to have to board her. It ended up raining on Saturday but the home was so cozy and there is an electric fireplace that was so perfect for just hanging out on the couch with a book and a cup of coffee. It’s close to a supermarket which was convenient and not far from Taylor’s Falls and Interstate Park. Jordyn was very responsive to all of my questions and she even took the the extra time and effort to send me back our dog’s harness and tie out leash that I had left behind. I got some great pictures at sunset and some cool videos of the beavers. Thank you so much for a lovely, relaxing weekend with my family and friends in your beautiful waterfront home.
This house is beautiful ! It was great for our family to get together and enjoy time together !
