This house is perfect for large groups. It exceeded our expectations! spaces are big and location by the water is amazing. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, both in the house and for the lake/water. Pontoon rental was a great thing to have as well. Communication with the Host was great and they were always responsive. We will be coming again. Highly recommend!

We did not have any children with us - it was our annual women’s’ weekend. We found the home to be very quiet and peaceful and we will be booking it again for next year.

Beautiful cabin

This was a beautiful cabin and location. Wish we would have known about all the steps down to the lake and grass cut down would have been nice down by the fire pit and also by the play set. Overall a great place very roomy and well stocked for our family vacation.

Perfect extended family getaway

Property amenities and environment were easy and enjoyable. We had a great family reunion. Property manager David was very responsive to any questions or asks and provided lots of helpful suggestions in advance. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property

Overall, we had a marvelous experience at Shady Pines on Kimble Lake. The home is spacious and comfortable. The lake and pontoon were great for the hot July days that we were there. The kitchen could have used a good cleaning, but it had everything needed for a group of 12. We’ll definitely return for another family vacation.

The house was very nice and comfortably accomodated the 16 of us. But it definately needs a better cleaning before the next group. The floors were dirty and our bedroom rug was not vacuumed. Maintenance upkeep also needs to be addressed. Also, need to have more garbage and recycle for larger grouos. Otherwise, we did enjoy our stay and all the grandkids had a great time!

We had a great stay! 4 families (18 of us!) fit comfortably and never felt overcrowded. The louvered doors on all bedrooms (and bathrooms!) were our biggest complaint, as we were traveling with 4 small children so naps and bedtime were a challenge and we wished we had known about them ahead of time. But incredible memories made, beautiful and quiet lake, and the house had everything we needed! We left 3 fishing poles behind so maybe the next group can have fun catching a million fish off the dock like our kids did! Already talking about making it an annual vacation. :)
