We stayed here for a 5 day elk hunt. The place was very nice (too bad the hunting wasn’t). The only downside is there is no TV in the living space. Otherwise the place was very clean and very nice. Would recommend
Three Canyons was wonderful. The mountains are in view from the front porch and the night sky is so beautiful! The cabin is fully stocked with all essentials and it is very cozy. We saw antelope grazing in a field across the road from the cabin. The host does run a small boarding/day care kennel, but we were never bothered by any noise, it is very quiet. We were there at a time when the fires were still burning up in the mountains, so we had to make some changes to our sight seeing plans. We did pretty good, but one morning before we left we happened to see Carol and told here what we had planned for that day and she made some suggestions. We were so glad she did, we were not disappointed! We all had a wonderful time and would highly recommend 3 Canyons. I would definitely book again!
Nice place to travel around. The house is well furnished, plenty of space and cozy (rustic style). Carol is helpful and friendly, she pays attention to the details to give an enjoyable stay.
Fantastic host! Beautiful location. Peaceful, clean and comfortable.
The hostess was amazing! We had some plans fall through and she gave us suggestions on things to do in the area & we are so glad we did. Her recommendations were spot on. Beautiful scenery and by far the best part of our trip so far!!
This was a fabulous stay. We sat out on the porch and enjoyed the bottle of wine Carol had so graciously left for us. The view was spectacular. We even saw some antelope in the field. It was very quiet and the kennel next door did not pose a problem at all. Carol has thought of everything, as far as our needs and more. Coffee, snacks, some drinks and even salt and pepper and other things we didn't think to bring. I would HIGHLY recommend, you will not be disappointed!!
Our family had an amazing stay, and Carol was a pleasure to work with. The cabin was in great shape and fully stocked with everything we needed. The views were amazing and the location was perfect near Buffalo. We hope to be back soon!
Gorgeous view, Beautiful home and very gracious host!
We were so pleasantly surprised to drive to the home and see such an amazing view Then we walked into a very beautiful log home and a bottle of wine on the counter! Who could ask for more!
Quiet, night sky full of stars, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, great location, gas grill, and washer/dryer made for a delightful stay. Owner very receptive but not intrusive. A very relaxing stay - ahhh!
Loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed longer. The house and the location are fabulous, beautiful porch to hang and watch the sunsets. Carol is the perfect host!
Can't wait to come back.
The cabin is very nice and spacious. The front porch has a great view of the mountains – we ate most of our meals there.
Large bedrooms with comfortable beds, full-size washer and dryer, nicely furnished kitchen, everything we needed. Nice gas grill was appreciated by our family chef.
The host was very gracious, fun, and accommodating.
We’ve been hiking in the Bighorns for a long time, and thought we knew about all of the good trails. But our Host told us about some great nearby trails that we had never heard of!
We enjoyed a great hike every day for a week, and we enjoyed our time in the cabin.
Carole is an amazing host . We were greeted with a bottle of wine, powerades and water in the fridge. Coffee, condiments, and personal items. Even though the temp when we stayed was 98 , the house stayed cool at 74. The mountain view was spectacular. We loved sitting on the deck in the evening. She is kind and so accomodating. We hope to come back!
This is an amazing property with incredible views! Carol may be new to the short-term rental biz but she nailed it with beverages and snacks provided. The log cabin is gorgeous — very rustic posh! My grandsons were elated to find mitts and a softball, and my granddaughter cried as we departed bc she wanted to stay.
Beautiful views and exceptional accommodations! Carol was friendly and helpful. The house was clean and inviting. Peaceful and relaxing. Definitely felt like home and made you never want to leave!
The house is beautiful, comfortable and is fully outfitted- kitchen items, linens, and many other amenities. The view from the front porch is beautiful and is was great to sit on the front porch and have coffee and a view each morning, We enjoyed grilling our dinner most every night. The Host, Carol could not be more kind or helpful. We had a fabulous week in Wyoming.
My sisters and I throughly enjoyed our time in Buffalo at the Three Canyons Log Home. The views were amazing! We loved sitting on the porch with the fire pit in the evenings. We took walks each morning right outside the front door. Our host Carol was wonderful from all the snacks, coffee set up, bottles of water, a welcome note with a bottle of wine and thank you too for the paper products! Downtown Buffalo was 5 minutes away and was a great place to shop, explore, and eat dinner. Thank you so much for everything you did to make our trip so memorable Carol. It was a true pleasure to meet and get to know you!!
Wow! Excellent views and hospitality! See you next year!

About the host

Owner lives on site and will give you full privacy and space unless approached or contacted first. I am readily available to interact and suggest local attractions and give directions. I love meeting new people! I manage a small quietly run dog boarding kennel on the property. If you are missing your fur babies, I welcome you to enjoy watching our campers play in the fields from your private front and back porches. I do ask that you do not try to pet our furry campers or linger by the fence lines where the dogs are playing.
