Pretty nice place it was clean and everything worked as it should . The pictures were obviously from when this place was new , it's got a little wear but still a very nice place to stay . Would be nice if the bedroom had a tv also .
We enjoy the change in environment. So peaceful and quiet. It has all we need. Whether we go down and fish or just hang out in the cabin watching tv or sitting on the porch in the evening. For us, it’s a great place and one we plan on visiting as often as possible.
Overall our stay was very good. This place is geared more for fishermen, nothing for kids to do here unless they like to fish. It is within a mile from a boat ramp and about 1/4 mile from a local store and restaurant. I do have to say that our host Danielle was very helpful in setting everything up and answering all my questions in a timely manner. I give her 10 out of 10 stars. Now I have to nit-pick to the owner so I hope he sees this..... 1st... Repair or replace the ice maker in the pavilion, 2 plastic ice cube trays in the fridge from the dollar store dont cut it.2nd... Replace the motel room size coffee pot (4-5 cup) with a regular size 10-12 cup coffee pot. Fisherman like a nice big cup of coffee in the mornings without having to remake second pots. 3rd... Have a better set of grill utensils.... long handle fork, long handle spatula, and tongs for flipping steaks. 4th... This is somewhat of a big one..... Have a roll away dishwasher. Fisherman like to kick back at the the end of the day and tell lies about the days catch, not stand at the sink and wash dishes.5th...This is more of a maintenance issue, access doors to the crawl spaces on cottages 1 and 2 was rotten and falling off, on our cottage 2 it was off and laying out in the yard. There is also a step on the stairs at the front porch that is rotting that needs replacing. A little touch up of the paint on the inside would be nice. Would I come back to this place? I most certainly would, just needs some TLC !
When we arrived we noticed the internet was down and there was a strong musty smell. After speaking with the owner/manager they explained a recent storm had knocked out the internet and they offered to move us to another cabin, which we did. The overall experience was very good and I would stay here again if we are ever in the area again.
The property is clean and in a good location. It was quiet and caters to guests that like to take advantage of Guntersville Lake fishing. I have stayed there before, and definitely stay again when I am in the area.

Thanks Scott for staying with us. We are glad you enjoyed the location. Please come back anytime!
The tiny house was cute and roomy. The only downside was it was 20min from any store or restaurants due to the time of year. Seems to be a big fishing community. Can’t wait to come back.
Did a quick stay so I could see friends. I enjoyed my stay. Even cooked here. Great hot shower, WiFi, and satellite TV. Comfortable air during the day and heat during the cold nights.
