Nestled around 3,500 feet in the private Settler's Ridge neighborhood, experience a relaxing retreat at the "Wild Peace" cabin. Help yourself to coffee from the coffee bar, or enjoy a glass of wine on the expansive covered deck while rocking in a custom made glider from a local Maggie Valley craftsman.

Tranquil setting on 1 acre of trees with views of Purchase Knob and Cataloochee Ridge. The cabin has plenty of room to spread out with 2,200 sq feet of living space, plus it has a large wrap around side and back deck. Enjoy family room, and well equipped kitchen. There is a large loft (with two twin beds for kids). Relax on the deck and watch the lightning bugs and hummingbirds with the mountains as a backdrop, simply beautiful!

Take a stroll and enjoy beautiful views from the private 1 mile neighborhood walking loop. Enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table. Roast some marshmallows with friends by the firepit or mosey down to the relaxing stream just steps from the home. Comfortable upstairs and downstairs living room and entertainment space. Downstairs living area has a large sectional to stretch out on and a large flatscreen TV with Roku. There is also a new digital dart board downstairs.

Electric Vehicle (EV) charging outlet and Pack and Play are available.

Local attractions include Cataloochee Ski area, Cataloochee Valley, downtown Waynesville with many restaurants, shops, and breweries to choose from, Maggie Valley shops and restaurants. Great Smoky Mountains National Park, The Blue Ridge Parkway, and Asheville is about a 35 minute drive.

Great layout

We enjoyed our stay. Backyard is steep but kids loved playing in the creek. The layout with separate living rooms and the big porch was perfect for two families with teens and smaller kids. Close to multiple Christmas tree farms, about 20-30 minutes to town and not a bad drive up the mountain. You would need 4wd in ice/snow but we were fine without it in rainy conditions. The beds and furnishings were comfortable!

Peaceful Getaway

We found this lovely cabin to be clean and everything as advertised. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds and listening to the sounds of the creek close to the house. There is a walking loop through the neighborhood which is quite vigorous with the elevation changes. Children would enjoy the loft. There is plenty of room for a larger family, but the two of us had a great time for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Family Wedding weekend

Completely beautiful location. Cabin was plenty big for all of us. Space is awesome. Well stocked kitchen. So private. Plenty of towels and extra blankets and throws. Our only concern is the lower level has a musty smell and was rather off-putting. We opened all of the windows air it out but the bedrooms downstairs were not our first choice. Once aired out, it was much better. We think a dehumidifier would be beneficial. We would RECOMMEND this cabin, hands down. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing with us!!!!
