We had 16 people stay for the 3 nights we booked and also had a family event on Saturday with 59 people total in attendance. The property fully accommodated the number of guests and there was ample parking as well. The dumpster on site is a great amenity for a large group, too. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with the guests. There were a couple issues with the AC in the game room and ants in the bunk house, so we were a little limited the first night on being able to use the entire property. The host, Breanne, and property manager, Kimberly, were very responsive to the reported issues and had everything remediated by mid day the following day. We had a great time and it was the best spot to gather our family and create new memories.

The house was clean and spacious. Kitchen was stocked well. Game room was great and spacious as well. We tried to fish but the location was not clear, lots of trash. The pool and hot tub were great, had so much fun swimming, unfortunately the lights didn't work.

We had a great stay and it was exactly what we needed. My son was getting married at Ashton Gardens just down the road, and this home gave us the extra space we needed to accommodate some of the groomsmen and friends. The grounds were beautiful and one of our favorite parts of the property.There were a few minor maintenance items that could use a little TLC, but nothing that took away from our overall experience. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others looking for a spacious, convenient place to stay in the area.

Good visit

This is a nice place and close to amenities if needed. Lots of room. Could use a little updating and some pool cleaning but overall a nice stay. Would stay again.

1500 characters is not enough. So my advice is read all of the reviews, especially the older ones. This property has potential but unfortunately it is in need of repairs and refurbishment. Every amenity in the game room is over used and has been for sometime. Darts None, pool table felt is torn and cue’s are bent. Air hockey - exposed spliced electrical cord? (Yes, that is what I want my grand child to plug into a wall?) The host had to replace propane grill during our stay as the built in hadn’t worked in years, and the external grill was unusable. the doors on the pool building have been hard to open for years. The hornet infestation in the property - years…the front gate (host claimed it just broke) they couldn’t get a repair company to fix it all week? Kitchen pots and pans - all either over used (flaking non-stick coating). Furnishings well worn. Lake access - unsafe - the trail to the lake hasn’t been cleared in sometime and the lake is very low so really not an amenity at all. There is a large indentation in the wall in the outside pool house bedroom. No one has really cleaned the dresser drawers in a long enough time that dust and dirt immediately soiled clean clothing. Carpet is torn in the landing and many stains are evident. Same with cloth furniture. The couches are not comfortable. While I appreciate some guests have reportedly found the home enjoyable. The host did refund one nights stay as we vacated early. Which I appreciated. The home is for sale.

We are disappointed by this review, as many of these statements are either inaccurate or significantly exaggerated and do not fairly represent the condition of our home or our responsiveness during this guest’s stay. From the moment this guest arrived, we received a continuous stream of complaints. Nevertheless, we responded promptly to every concern raised. For example, when the guest stated that the grill did not work, we purchased and delivered a brand-new grill in less than 24 hours. Upon arrival, our property manager tested the existing grill and was able to light it immediately, it was fully operational and remains in use today. We still left the new grill for the guests. The guest also complained about the cookware. Although we disagreed that it was unusable, we immediately purchased and delivered an entirely new set of pots and pans. The suggestion that the property has been neglected “for years” is simply false. The home, furnishings, amenities, and household supplies are routinely inspected, and approximately every six months we conduct a more extensive review and replacement of items as needed. The HOME IS NOT FOR SALE This is a beautiful two-acre lake property with numerous amenities. Lake levels naturally fluctuate and are completely outside a host’s control. We made every effort to address this guest’s concerns during the stay and ultimately refunded one night when they chose to depart early. Unfortunately, despite our repeated efforts to accommodate them, the complaints continued throughout their stay. We were gracious in the review we left this guest, but based on our experience, we would not welcome them back. We encourage prospective guests to read the many reviews from guests who have enjoyed this property and our hospitality.

A restful retreat

We stayed at this house for a staff retreat and it was perfect for us. Plenty of space to rest and relax with each other or on our own. Plenty of parking and fun things to do. So grateful!

Incredible property and location. Our stay was for my daughter’s senior homecoming weekend . We hosted a mother daughter brunch, the girls swam and then had a day of beauty and got ready together for homecoming. The house is amazing very well taken care of, the pool was perfect temperature and clean. We were absolutely rent again. Highly recommend recommended. Also, great and quick communication with the host.
