Beautiful Views

The property is beautiful. The hosts are wonderful, and provide all the info needed before arrival. The house could have been a bit cleaner, as we found some of the bathrooms sinks were still a bit dirty and some parts of the house were dusty. A few of the amenities and showing wear (pool, hot tub, pool table). Overall I would stay again.

The Langdon

Beautiful place to stay with a great view. Perfect for any age . The pool is wonderful …. Hot tub also newer and works great . I would definitely recommend The Langdon and I will for sure be back !! My only complaints are the fountain in the pool is not in working order and the floors (in the bathrooms especially) needed a little more attention there was hair and dust on them , but this would not keep me from renting the cabin again in the future ..

Great Cabin and good location! Needs top to bottom deep cleaning!

The location of the cabin is great. We got there easily and had enough parking comfortably. We received our access codes an hour or two before check in and it was super easy!! The first floor has two rooms with the living room and kitchen. Very good size and was perfect for our group of 8 adults and 3 kids. The rugs in both the living room and dining room need to be thrown away or CLEANED PROPERLY. There was a dirt line where the rugs have not been moved when we were cleaning up. There was a lot of dog/cat hair on the pillows on the couch. They were disgusting. We also found hairs in bed sheets and towels. Needless to say that is why I always pack my own towels and blankets. The pool was a good size and the kids had a blast. They have 4 chairs with towels and a jacuzzi right outside. The main floor patio furniture needs a little make over. They were very worn and dirty. The camp fire was neat! But we didn’t have alot of chairs. There was one just lying there broken. The pool table is on a sort of 3 floor. We didn’t really go up there. It’s was just the pool table. It would’ve made sense to have some of the board games up there. Overall I would come back but in my opinion housekeeping needs a lot of improvement! Top to bottom deep cleaning and good maintenance after each guest.

Awesome family vacation!!

We spent a week with our 6 year old and (almost) 4 year old and this was the perfect house! The pool and hot tub were great - all 4 of us enjoyed those! Our 6 year old became a pool (the billiards kind) expert! We visited ober mountain for snow tubing and ice skating, anakeesta for the ropes courses, the island at pigeon forge, and hiked to Laurel falls and had a picnic overlooking the smokies in the National park. The accommodations were excellent. We ended the trip with a night of s’mores at the fire pit and the kids loved wandering the mountainside for twigs and firewood.

Outstanding

You can expect to find everything just as pictures show! This is a GREAT cabin. It is very convenient to Pigeon Forge, only about 10 minuets. Another bonus, to be in the mountains, this cabin has a very short distance of curvy/steep road leading to it. All in all- this is one of the best cabin and host team we have dealt with in over 15 years of going to the Smokies. We will be back!

Beautiful Home, Issues with the property management

This home was beautiful and served our family well with 4 king size bedrooms with bathrooms in all 4 bedrooms. The house itself is amazing, did notice a horrible creak in the master bathroom bathtub when showering and a puddle of water in the family room floor upon arrival. We had bad weather during our stay, 1 degree weather upon arrival, but thankful no snow and the roads were clear, however, if there is snow, it would be almost impossible and not safe to access this home due to the steep and curvy roads (Received several calls while traveling from property management and messages, confirming we were making the trip, it was almost as if they did not want us to keep our reservation). Upon arrival everything worked fine; however, we lost wifi signal shortly after arriving and made a call to property management to see if they could assist us with resetting the router, we were unable to locate the router after hours of searching and it was not located in the master bedroom behind the headboard as we had been told. This was an issue due to one of our guest being a doctor and unable to conduct emergency calls, etc.. Verizon cell phone service did not work for us either and the beautiful home theater was completely useless during our stay since we could not access signal from our cell phones to use as a hot spot or the home's wifi. It would be a good idea to have a dvd player and some movie options for future guests who experience this wifi issue! The worst part of the experience was the rudeness from the property manager who informed us after we called about the wifi issue that we were welcome to find another location to stay and they had people in homes without water and electric. I do understand the importance and priority; however, management should have been helping those individuals find other accommodations and servicing all of their customers, this was a very pricey accommodation to receive such rudeness from management!!!
