The cabin was exactly as described and surrounded by peaceful, quiet woods. It has a charming rustic feel with all the comforts of home. We loved how secluded it felt while still being just a short drive from Blue Ridge, GA. The large fenced yard was certainly a plus for our dog too. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!
We loved our stay! Such a convenient location with the privacy of a mountain retreat. Our pup loved the fenced in backyard! The home was beautifully decorated and even had cute touches for fall. Such a wonderful space... perfect for a relaxing weekend away!
Hands down, best vacation rental we’ve done. The house was impeccably clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need, so cozy & comfortable, and stunning views. We’re very familiar with the area, but this cabin was easily accessible (no matter the vehicle) and a quick drive to both Blue Ridge and McCaysville. The hosts provided great information about the area so we were able to find a few new-to-us options. The views from the porch & family room are stunning; we saw deer almost every morning. Loved that the family room and dining table actually included enough seating for everyone. The hosts were very communicative and so welcoming. We all enjoyed our stay, ranging in ages 10-75.
House as described. Communication with owner was quick and complete. Location was perfect. Enjoyed our stay and looking forward to booking this property again. Recommend for location, ease of communication with owner and accuracy of listing. Proximate to Blue Ridge, MacKaysville, Blairsville, Murphy and Ellijay. Go tubing, boating, kayaking, ride the rails (bikes and train), hiking, waterfalls, mushroom farm, Union County cannery and farmers market and much more! So much to enjoy in this area. This property was an excellent choice.

We loved how peaceful the property was. Very quiet and wooded. My favorite part of the property was the wrap around porch! The views were beautiful!
Also, we were looking for a property with a fenced yard with hopes that we could leave our dog out while we went to a wedding celebration. While this property had a fence, the abundance of trees in the backyard did not allow grass to grow. It was primarily underbrush. So we didn't really use the fenced backyard as planned.
The owners were very responsive, accommodating, and polite, which I really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved this place--spent most of our time there on the deck. We stayed an entire month! We used the fire pit and took the dogs for walks in a 3 mile surrounding area. Family members went to several state parks and amazing hiking areas within an hour's drive, and we also went tubing and to the nearby Horseshoe Bend Park. The cabin itself is just beautiful and perfect for our needs. All of the beds are SUPER comfortable. The kitchen has more dishes and pans than my kitchen at home....you could make anything there. We had a couple of small issues which we communicated to the friendly owners, and they responded immediately. We also spent some time in nearby McCaysville and Blue Ridge. We loved this place and highly recommend it. We feels so fortunate to have found it. FYI--During our stay, we had family members fly in from Atlanta Airport (2 hours) and Chattanooga Airport (closer).
We enjoyed our stay tremendously! It is always nice when everyone in the group has a comfortable chair to sit in instead of straight back kitchen chairs. The kitchen was well supplied but a little small when more than a couple of us were in there. All bedrooms were a good size as well as the bathrooms. Plan ahead with a small kiddie pool or tub for toddlers...we did and it worked out very well. The house was also a great house for our dogs to join us. The deck area was gated so that the pups couldn't get out the front, but there was also a fenced backyard where the pups could run and play. We brought pet wipes for paws but the owner also provided these as well. We saw deer almost every morning, enjoyed beautiful sunsets each day and had one morning with snow flurries. It was wonderful and relaxing. I would definitely recommend!
