It was clean and spacious. Lots of room for the whole family. And the location was great. Walking distance to downtown and a short 25 min drive to Monarch mountain.

Salida Brewfest

Great place to stay in Salida. Close to Riverside park and downtown. This home was perfect for 7 adults and 1 dog.Kitchen was well equipped, the beds were all super comfortable.

Great for a family stay!

We loved our weekend at Kristi’s in Salida! It was a great house for a family stay for everyone to have their own space and it was easy to walk to downtown restaurants and hiking trails.

Fantastic Weekend Stay

We had a great time in Salida, much because of the comfortable and convenient rental. There was plenty of room to hang out, spread out, and enjoy the company of old friends. We’d highly recommend this property and stay again when we’re back for a visit.

Family Vacation

The place was in a great location and close to walking to town. A perfect size for our large family. The only issue is that with the high temperatures during the week we were there, at times the house was a little warm but a great week.

Great Location

Being just a couple blocks from the city center made our weekend really easy. The property was exactly as represented, and Kristi was a great host. She responded to questions right away and provides a packet of information with all the property and local details you might need.

Huge house!

Our family of 5 (3 teenagers!) had plenty of room in this house. It was nice to have so many bathrooms so no one had to fight over them. The location was fantastic! Shops and restaurants were just a couple of blocks away and easy to walk to. We were even able to easily watch the 4th of July fireworks show from the front yard! Communication with the host was fast, easy, and friendly. We had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation!

Excellent location to downtown Salida

Property was located perfect for easy access to downtown Salida. Surface cleaning was good but a deep clean of furniture and underneath is needed. Internet worked well but did crash several times and needed rebooting of router. There are multiple levels leading to the living area and one of the bedrooms, seemingly due to it being a converted carport. The levels didn't pose too many problems but not apparent from the property description or pictures. Despite the few minor issues, we would stay again at this location.

Beautiful property! Very clean and uncluttered.

We were there for a celebration of life and the property allowed a few extra family members stop by and visit. The beds are comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. I appreciated the information the hosts left to highlight the surroundings and things to do. The kitchen was well stocked with mostly what you needed. The location is about 5-6 block walk to downtown. It’s an easy walk. The street is a little busy so we had to be careful parking and getting into our cars sometimes. I think it was just because there was a lot of summer traffic and they don’t follow the speed limit. We enjoyed the following shops: YOLO, RUBY BLUES, and a couple art galleries. We ate at AMICA’s, Sweeties, Robyn’s and Bensons! All had super friendly staff and food was amazing!! Salida is GEM & our host Kristi made it a smooth stay! We would definitely recommend this property!!

We had a great visit in Salida, it felt like a home away from home. This house is very spacious and lovely. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is large and easy to use. We were able to cook some meals and also go out to eat. It was very nice that the owner allows dogs, so we were able to bring our dog who enjoyed the nice sidewalks for walking and the fenced in back yard. Lots of nice shops and restaurants to walk to. Only about 30 minutes to drive Monarch mountain for skiing.

This is one of the few larger, 4 bedroom homes right near downtown. With 4 private bedrooms, 2 with en suites, everyone can join on the vacation. Walk or bike to downtown Salida, Riverside Park, Alpine Park, or the Riverwalk, which is just across the street!
