Things you may not have thought about

Theona is an absolute amazing host. When you arrive there are cute litte snacks on the table with a note. The cottage smelled clean. And not a bleach clean or im trying to hide a bad smell clean. Very pleasant. We had purchased groceries on the way down so to the kitchen we went. There you will find a keurig duo. Feel free to bring grounds or pods for your morning cup of coffee. If you forget there are pods there. If you aren't a coffee drinker she also has just about every tea you can think of in the cabinet. Salt n pepper. Shampoo and soap. Hand soaps. Dish detergent. Laundry detergent. It was endless. The screened in porch was my favorite in the morning. Make a cup of coffee and go listen to the song birds before getting ready for the day. Highly recommend for a cute/quiet getaway.

Wonderful time visiting family

Extremely happy with my stay at The Cottage in Edenton, from my arrival to departure a week later i was very impressed with the VRBO. It made my vacation and I would definitely return.

AMAZING 2ND STAY!!!

This is our family's second stay at this cottage and it was just as amazing as the first time!! The host is always pleasurable and great to communicate with. Really go above and beyond to make you are completely satisfied with your stay! Will HIGHLY recommend and will be staying here again! recommend

Peaceful, immaculate, and well appointed!

As my husband remarked, this was the best property we've ever rented - and I've rented many! The cottage was small, but not "small". The decor is tasteful, modern, and clean - no fussy decorations. The furniture and beds were comfy - the kitchen was better than mine at home - and i could LIVE on the back screened in porch, complete with ceiling fan and comfortable furniture, looking out to a lovely green lawn. The location is ideal, just blocks from downtown and a very walkable neighborhood. My mother grew up in Edenton, so i enjoyed staying a few blocks from the house in which she lived as a child. While we were here to honor my uncle's long life, which was both an honor and stressful - returning to this cottage was incredibly relaxing and peaceful. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hidden Gem

This quaint property is as cozy as home and the hosts are invisible but available. I am so thankful for their hospitality and attention to detail to make my stay wonderful. Can't recommend enough.

Fabulous Cottage, But.....

The cottage was beautiful and the location was great. I was surprised, however, to discover that the owner expected you to use your own streaming account to access the TV. Since we have cable TV at home, this was a surprise and a problem.

Cozy Comfortable Cottage

Charming home with everything you need. The cottage is very clean and inviting. Only wish we were able to use the back porch. It was a little chilly during our stay. Would love to stay there again if we can get back to Edenton

A Wonderful Place to Stay

We absolutely loved this quaint, comfortable cottage and we are already planning a return visit. The cottage has more than everything you need for a cozy stay as well as being less than a mile from Historic Edenton. The host, Theona, is wonderful, so very accommodating. We loved out stay!

Charming Edenton Cottage

What a lovely cottage! We had a quick Thanksgiving trip to Edenton and were thankful indeed to have found this darling place to stay. We would love to stay there again on another visit to Edenton!

Girls trip to Edenton

Friend from Sarasota came to visit me in Richmond VA and we took a 3 day/2night trip to Edenton. So glad I had booked with this lovely Cottage. Even before the trip, if there was a question I would send message to owner and receive a reply sometimes within minutes. Perfect location, BEAUTIFUL accommodations and comforts of home. Close to historic Edenton. Lovely, quaint town with a vibrant history. Do the tours. The history is amazing. Fell in love with friendliness of everyone. 5 star+. Jayne and Betty

Tour of Edenton, North Carolina

Two ladies in our 70’s enjoyed a trip to explore a new town. This cottage was so comfortable and pleasant . We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the screen in porch . We would definitely rent this place again.

Birthday Getaway

We had the best time in Edenton - celebrating, shopping, dining, and learning about the town’s history. The cottage (VRBO) is absolutely adorable! It is so cozy, clean, well stocked and exactly how it is described online - the beautiful screened in porch was our main hangout, very much enjoyed. Our host provided everything we needed and made sure we would enjoy our stay. I will return and I highly recommend the cottage when staying in Edenton.

Wonderful cottage in Edenton!

Traveling through North Carolina, we decided to spend one night in the lovely inner banks town of Edenton. We stayed one night at the cottage in Edenton on Church Street. We did not want for anything,as everything we needed was provided for! Beds were comfy, laundry facilities were great, the hostess left little food gifts and the outside screened in porch provided birdsong while we drank our morning coffee! Our only regret was we only booked one night. We will go back to Edenton and that lovely cottage on Church Street
