This is not a high rise condo on the beach, it's a family home that has been divided into two (upstairs and downstairs) in a residential neighborhood that is steps from the beach and a five minute walk to "The Ice Cream Store" as my granddaughter called Treats on the Beach on Flagler Avenue.
If you turn left when you come out the front door you're a two minute walk to a neighborhood playground with well maintained equipment, tennis & basketball courts and public toilets. We took our granddaughter almost every day and each time we made new local friends who had lived in the neighborhood for decades.
Turn right when you come out the front door and you're two minutes walk to a public crosswalk to the beach. Beside the walk is a protected area for gopher turtles and most days we had the pleasure of seeing a rather large one laying outside it's nest enjoying the sunshine.
We had a minor issue when we first arrived that was immediately solved by Kim, the owner, who continued to communicate with us throughout our stay. She couldn't have been more attentive and made sure we were not in need of anything. Many thanks for a wonderful visit in the best location we've stayed in NSB!
