As you enter the private gated community of Lake Arrowhead located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you’re greeted with the serenity and peacefulness of the lake and mountain life.
Life slows down as you wind your way through the curves of the Georgia hills and you’re surrounded by deer, natural scenery and fresh air.
With an airy, modern interior, this 2br, 2 ½ bath townhome offers a romantic and peaceful getaway for couples or small families. It is centrally located in the community, overlooking a forest where deer congregate and the following enjoyments are the biggest decisions of the day -
Highlands Golf - Here, you can play 18 challenging holes surrounded by the hills and the deer on the nearby fairways and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner at the Highlands grill clubhouse -
Marina – Here, you can enjoy some fun in the Georgia sun while relaxing and fishing on our 540 acre lake, or borrow my 1 person inflatable dinghy and paddle around the lake.
Hiking Trails - You may decide to grab your boots and hike the many trails Lake Arrowhead offers around the mountain, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the scenery.
Parks/Pool – Red Cloud park or Great Festival Park - enjoy the pool, playground, pickle ball or tennis at one of the 2 community fun parks.
Explore nearby – Wineries, local attractions, small towns, Blue Ridge Mountains with all our beautiful falls and lakes are all nearby and if you need some city life, drive an hour for the day into Atlanta, and return to the serenity of “the Porch”.

Or, do none of these and simply relax on the porch with a nice refreshing drink.

Relaxing place to stay

Our stay at The Porch was just what we needed. Very clean and comfortable. The community pools are very nice. We didn’t use the other amenities but they looked great as well.

Stay at Lake Arrowhead

We had a wonderful stay at JP’s townhouse. Went into Canton and had a wonderful dinner at C’est Le Vie. Took a walk on one of the many trails that were close to the townhouse. Had coffee in the morning and watched a number of deer walking in front of the deck. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A great quiet little place!

“The Porch” was an amazing place to stay and make memories with my daughters. We enjoyed our first Christmas with just the three of us here and we made wonderful memories. I will never forget my girls coming down the stairs on Christmas morning and the excitement on their faces. Do yourself a favor and book here!

Perfect mountain lake retreat

Our stay at this property was fantastic. The spacious layout and great outdoor entertaining areas made it perfect for our needs. One of the highlights is its close proximity to the lake, making it easy to enjoy water activities and the scenic beauty. The surrounding area also features wonderful hiking trails that are perfect for nature enthusiasts. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely be returning.

Valentine's Day Getaway

This area is so beautiful and peaceful. I firhot all about the hustle and heachache of the city commutes, traffic, and noises. I felt like i actually left Georgia lol. The property owners are a class act! Thank you for your hospitality and making our Valentine's Day so special.

I needed a place for my brother’s family during a multigenerational family gathering in the area. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful, arranging things so I could make the reservation on behalf of my brother’s family. Cozy stay at Lake Arrowhead

Well appointed and charming mountain townhome in a scenic setting. JP was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions. My kids enjoyed deer spotting and the numerous parks and walking trails of the Lake Arrowhead community are a great bonus. Nice pickleball courts as well. Pools and the lake itself looked like fun if we had been there in the summer. Recommended!

Amazing stay!

This place was amazing! Felt like home away from home. Super clean and decorated beautifully. JP and Patty are fantastic hosts. They even left me a card for Mother’s Day and ice cream for the family! Next time we are in the area we will be sure to stay here again.

Perfect location

"The Porch" was a great place to stay. I made the reservation at the last minute, and the owner (JP) answered all of my questions. He made the process very easy. We were there for my son's college golf tournament, and the location was perfect. It was less than a ten-minute drive to the clubhouse. The townhouse had everything we needed. We will be back and stay a little longer next time.
