FAQ's...

Do you offer early check-in or late check-outs?
- No. Our home is in high demand! We use this precious little time we have to prepare the home following the CDC Cleaning Guidelines, as well as to complete any maintenance tasks, so your stay is uninterrupted. If additional time is important to you we recommend booking an additional night to your stay.

Do you allow luggage drop-off for early arrivals or late departures?
- No, unfortunately we are unable to offer luggage drop-off at this time.

Is the home suitable for children?
- Our home is great fun for children over the age of 5. We have steep stairs and a deck without a railing. While it's not very high, it is not super low either. This home is not a great option for younger children and mobile infants. We do offer a pack n play for non-mobile infants.

Can we go in the pond?
- No, the pond water is not circulated. Swimming or wading in the pond is not allowed.

Can we take a boat out on the pond?
- No, boats are not allowed by the association

Can we fish in the pond?
- YES! It is catch and release only. The pond is stocked with carp and bass.

Is the pond private?
- No. It belongs to the community. You can walk the path around the pond, so don't be surprised to see people on a stroll or chilling on the bench in front of our home.

Can we feed the ducks and geese?
- YES! We provide a small amount of floating duck food. We ask that you not feed them bread as it is bad for their digestive system.

Are the birds loud?
- The geese leave in the morning and return in the evening. They can be talkative at night, so we offer a sound machine and ear plugs for your use should you need them.

Do you offer a cleaning service?
- Yes! If our schedule allows, we can accommodate additional cleaning services on a weekly basis, for an added cost. Just ask us!

Can I book on behalf of a friend, family member or co-worker?
- No. While we would love to host whoever you are booking for, we do need them to book for themselves with their own.

Perfect Vintage Home
This home was perfectly situated in the adorable town of Cottonwood. Easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Perfect location if you are looking to visit Jerome and Sedona. Bed was very comfortable and the coffee bar was amazing! We as lovers of all things vintage, really loved the vibe the decor gave off. We had a great time sipping wine and flipping through the Architectural Digests from way back when while playing Whitney Houston on the record player. We will definitely stay again!

About the host

Host profile image
I've been hosting guests since 2010! In 2018 I started my own hosting business, Mostess, to help owners provide wonderful places for guests to enjoy in Arizona.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is on the fringe of Cottonwood, about 20 min or less to Sedona, Jerome, the vineyards in Cornville and Old Town Cottonwood. It has great views of the red rocks in Sedona, as well as access to the Verde River!

What makes this property unique

The Duck Pond A-Frame has epic sunrises over the water making waking up early worth it! Our home is quirky and filled with tons of vintage items from the records to the Architectural Digest collection. There's plenty of space inside and out to spread out and chill.
