What a gem! Perfect for us to have the absolute peace & quiet for a few days after a lot of driving. Also so nice to be able to just jump in a kayak at the beach & go for a paddle. Gorgeous sunsets every night! If you feel the need for a drive we recommend Land Between the Lakes National Recreaction Area, especially the bison and elk range. The hosts of this property are super friendly & knowledgeable about the area, and the cottage itself is perfection!!

We were so pleased with our stay this past weekend. We found the cottage to be very clean and had all that we could possibly need. The view of the lake from the cottage was spectacular! We also enjoyed the screened in porch as well as the chairs and swing on the beach area overlooking the lake. We also took full advantage of the complimentary kayaks as well. The hosts were also very welcoming and accommodating. No complaints whatsoever--and we would love to return in the future!

From start to finish this rental was amazing. I immediately felt at home and had everything I needed for a wonderful stay. The lake was absolutely stunning and could not have asked for a better batch access. The kayaks were so much fun and the screened in porch (SIP) is where I spent most of my nights. To say I felt relaxed is an understatement. The hosts were also incredible, super responsive, so kind and left me the sweetest birthday message. I will absolutely be back to stay in my new home away from home and can't wait to make more memories on the beautiful Lake Barkley. I absolutely recommend this cabin to everyone!!

This place was exactly what we needed. A few days of total relaxation. Watching the birds, squirrels, and river traffic from the screened porch was wonderful. A great place to reconnect with nature. There seems to be plenty of activities nearby if wanted. The property owners are amazing! We'll be back for sure.
