This amazing property boasts wonderful outdoor living complete with fire pit, covered patio, grill, and big screen TV. The three separate sleeping areas include a bunk house which sleeps 4, a separate house with queen bed, and the main quarters has a living area with a full kitchen, family room, bathroom, and queen size bedroom. Sitting a half mile from a private dock, boat ramp, and picnic area on Kentucky Lake makes this a jewel to treasure. This cottage welcomes lake lovers, families, hunters, fishermen, businesspersons, and anyone wanting to get away to the great outdoors. Also, no cleaning fee!

When you leave, please take the can to the curb.

We are the Lyles family and are from Central Kentucky. We have four children: two boys and two girls. Our oldest two are wrapping up college. Our younger two are in high school. My wife is a music teacher at an elementary school, and I am a CPA and work for the Department of Education. We value faith, family, and friends. We'd be honored if you choose to stay in our lake house.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Gilbertsville and Kentucky Lake about 6 years ago. Our children, who span seven years from youngest to oldest, all found something special about lake life. When asked where they want to go on vacation, it was always "Kentucky Lake." We want our property to be a blessing to other families and to grow new lake lovers.
What makes this property unique
Our property is unique in that it is one unit with ample space to spread out. The bunk house, queen bedroom house, then the main house gives guests a little breathing room but still has a main house to gather together.
Even in the rain, families can join together on the covered patio to play cards, watch a movie, read a book, or have a talk.
With the highspeed internet, you could make lesson plans, have a small group retreat, or work from "home". Work during the day and boat, swim, or fish at night.
