Cozy little cabin off the beaten path. Approximately 20 minutes from the Kings Canyon National Park entrance gate. Nice patio out back to relax after a day of hiking. Gaze at the stars while sitting in the swings.

Loved the cabin and the property. Intetnet and TV worked grest. Had to look up online how to use a French Press coffee maker. Lol . Loved ping pong table.
Nice place to stay and convenient location for Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks. Great response & communication with the host. She’s very responsive!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The host was lovely and very communicative - she happily let us check in early, and check out late. Amazing proximity to Sequoia National Park.
Only room for improvement would be if the property had its own private entrance. You have to drive past a couple of houses to get to the location, so we were a little confused getting to the house, but it all worked out!

charming cottage, I recommend this property.
walked around the area, it was very quite and beautiful views.
This place is so cool! It has everything we needed plus great outdoor hangout areas and an amazing screened in porch with a sleeping area in it! It made for a great base camp for visiting sequoia and kings canyon. And it’s a short drive from the great Pinehurst lodge. Highly recommended place and I’d stay here again.
Cabin is very cute and comfortable with awesome amenities. Close to Kings Canyon Park entrance. We spent a lot of time in the garden and enjoying the fire pit in the evenings after exploring the area. Thank you for having us.
Can't wish for anything else for this stay, maybe just wished I had stayed more days. Cabin is so cozy, well maintained and supplied. Would definitely recommend it.
The place is lovely, equipped with everything one may need for a 3 day stay. I was with my family and we found the house fascinating for its location completely immersed in the trees. It's quite isolated, so make sure you buy groceries before you get in the area the first market is half an hour driving down the hill.

Absolutely wonderful! The cabin is somehow both cozy and spacious. Very well-equipped with lots of nice touches. I felt like we had everything we needed plus lots of fun things for our family. It is in a great location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The host communicated proactively and was very friendly in messaging while also letting us enjoy having the space to ourselves. I only wish we were able to come back to the area again soon, we’d definitely stay here again.

This cabin is very cute and comfortable, with charming decor. The bed is SO comfortable. We enjoyed stargazing, and listening to the frogs, birds and other wild creatures. We also enjoyed the open barn with the ping pong table. :) We ate at the Pinehurst restaurant up the street, and really enjoyed the food. I loved my burger and homemade potato chips!
We had a great stay! Property is located only about 20 to 30 minutes from the big stump entrance to Kings Canyon and Sequoia NF. The house is charming with many lovely touches, making it feel very much like a home versus a rental property. The temperatures were high during the day, but we were out hiking. The swamp cooler machine, ( which I have never seen before) worked well at keeping the house nice and cool.. Thank you to Katrina for accommodating a one hour early check-in so that we were able to drop our stuff and get in sometime in the park. The Pinehurst Bar and Grill was a nice stop off after a day of hiking. The garden space and patio were really nice and we enjoyed seeing hummingbirds, California, quail and acorn woodpeckers.

Remote area, no hwy noise
Appreciated Katrina helping us with issues that were no fault of hers or her management.
Once she took care of those issues, we enjoyed a quiet retreat.
If you want to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle, this is the perfect hideaway for just that. Starting with the drive up the 245. It’s an old small and very curvy road, so drive slow and enjoy the beautiful scenery around you. Once you get to the cabin, it’s off the road a bit so there isn’t much noise from traffic or lights. It’s a very serene area. The cabin itself is quaint and just adorable. Katrina put a lot of cute touches into it to help you feel at home. You have your basic necessities met and a few more added touches such as a French press for the best coffee, a big comfy chair to watch tv, a super comfy bed, and a fire pit to sit around or roast hot dogs like we did! Keep your eye open for deer, beautiful birds, salamanders, and many other native animals. As you can tell we really enjoyed our stay.
It’s not far from the kings Canyon and sequoia park to spend a day or two at. Go check out Hume Lake! Very clean and a great trail around it. Long story short, I highly recommend you staying in this hidden gem of a place, you won’t regret it.

Katrina is not a Professional Host
Someone else, with an unleashed pit bull, were at the property when we arrived. A young woman, a man (her father) with no luggage. After verification, she claimed she made a genuine mistake on the date (July not June)! Not sure if she’s telling the truth, but what’s shocking was that the host, Katrina, gave her the key lock box code over the phone without verification. We weren’t sure if they made a genuine mistake, or they carried motive. They excused themselves and left right away. On their way out, she handed the key to me and told me the key lock box code!! I immediately contacted the host and she dropped two sentences to ensure our security. I asked her to call so I could understand the whole story around 6:30pm, and she did not reply until the following morning. My husband and I could not sleepy that night.
Also, the tv doesn’t work unless you have an Amazon Prime account, that was not clear on the description. I asked the host and she replied with a few words “it will work if you have a prime account”. I asked for further instructions. She never replied.
Lastly, the property is a 45 min drive to Sequoia National Park entrance due to road work.
Finding lodging outside of the parks is very difficult. This isolated cabin was a good choice for us. It had all of the equipment and supplies we needed. It is an older home and a little on the worn side. The manager is very personable and accommodating. Bring your own food. There are no stores close by and the only restaurant is unreliable. Half of the items on the menu were not available.
