We really enjoyed our stay! This property is clean, well-stocked and just lovely and relaxing! We definitely used the coffee bar which had everything you could need for any coffee lover! There is even more outdoor seating than shown in the photos - nice surprise. I would highly recommend a stay here and plan to come back.

Amazing villa and location

We have used this home several times for short escapes. The hosts could not be any more accommodating and are always very responsive. The home is impeccably clean, every time. The balcony is a great place to see the wildlife. We will be back soon.

If only all rental properties were like this one!

This is a lovely house; very comfortable with good quality fixtures and fittings both inside and on the two balconies. The kitchen drawers are even labelled so you don't have to open each one to find what you are after! I also appreciated the wide choice of coffee maker on offer.I greatly enjoyed my 6 nights here.

Our favorite vacation rental anywhere. Relaxing, spotless and the best "equipped" rental we have ever stayed in. Everything you could need to feel at home. The living room is perfect for snuggling up with a book or even a laptop if you MUST get some work done. Dolphins, sea turtles, rays and fish swim by on a regular basis and you can watch without even leaving the balcony. Kayaks right outside the door get you close to the wildlife. The owners have thought of everything and are very responsive and accommodating with requests or the occasional hiccup Not a single complaint after about 10 stays in this home. You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful, peaceful and my favorite by far.

This home hosted by Brian and Janine is absolutely stunning. The home is very clean, very well stocked with just about everything you could need. They keep in contact with you to make sure you have everything you need and are very responsive to messages. I love the location as we are always using these trips to fish. This place is perfect for boats as well and a few minutes boat ride to some great fishing. We caught multiple species of fish off of the dock itself. You're sure to love this place just book it and relax! Thanks for everything!

Love this place! Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful, clean, responsive owners. We have stayed twice and will be our local escape for many more visits. Love watching the dolphins, birds, and sunsets right from the balconies.

Great Views

Wonderful experience for my wife and I visiting with our adult children and spouse. Brian was quick to respond to all questions and made the entire process from check-in to check-out easy. Saw lots of marine life during our stay including a dolphin that swam right up to the dock. Will definitely be back.

Paradise on stilts

This house has everything you could ask for. Brian and Janine did a great job with making it feel like home, the best coffee bar I've seen yet. We ate all our meals on the deck overlooking the canal, we saw manatee, schools of sting rays and more turtles than I could count. We came to kayak fish catching red fish, sea trout, snook and snapper. Long days this time of year and very comfortable beds to rest up.

Perfect getaway!

We loved our stay here, and the only thing we’d do different next time is to stay longer! Quiet neighborhood, and great location to get to Weeki Wachee. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, coffee on the porch, and the comfy living room for relaxing. The two 2nd floor decks, and the waterfront deck were so serene with beautiful sunset skies. We would have loved to use the kayaks if we had more time. The house was immaculately clean, and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend a stay here!

Hernando Beach Dolphins

Real property and real owners. I wanted to say that for others, who like myself, have been scammed on VBRO and partner company in the past. Great rental, has everything you could need from appliances, to kids items (highchair, pack and play, dishes), and things to do. We didnt use the kayaks or fishing poles, because we have family in the area and visit often, but they are there for guest use. The lock on the door was tricky at times, but I think it was user(s) error. The sunset is beautiful from the front deck and sunrise from the back. We did see dolphins, a stingray and other awesome creatures in the chanel.

Top 5 favorite rentals

This house has EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want! We normally buy groceries and things before we arrive. DON'T BUT ANYTHING until after you arrive. From garbage bags and ziplocks to plenty of toiletries, an air fryer, an instant pot, an abundance of paper products and a coffee lovers dream. We rented a pontoon from Captain's whille we were there and the quick access to the Shoal sandbar for swimming was AWESOME as were the dolphins kayaking and boating in Delphine bay (just at the opening of the canal. The house was incredibly clean, the beds very comfortable and everything well lit. Weeki Wachee springs and river kayaking was 10-15 minutes away too! We had a blast! Brian was an AWESOME host answered all of our questions and the house had a book with souch local info including menus, it was great, we will be back!

Perfect place to vacation in Hernando Beach

First I would like to give a shout-out to the hosts Brian and Janine. They were helpful, responsive and courteous throughout our entire stay. It was great receiving quick notes from them throughout our stay making sure everything was going smoothly. The home was perfect for our size. We had 4 adults and 3 children and never felt cramped. There were many amenities to take advantage of that Brian and Janine provide in the home for their guests. Kayaking in the canal, boating in the gulf and chilling at the sandbar, fishing in the grass flats; all right there at your fingertips at this home. Finally, I was very thankful for the in-depth information provided to us for things to do in the area. Brian and Janine had a packed binder about the area that included restaurants and locations of interest. It was a great complement to what we already had planned for the trip. Definitely amplified the enjoyment for us. We all look forward to staying here again for our next family beach vacation. Thanks again Brian and Janine!

We are from Massachusetts but we travel to Florida 1-2 times a month and we stay at both our VRBO properties each time. We are always making improvements based on your suggestions. Brian is really handy and he gets bored quickly, so he's always improving the house in some way or building something for the house, every time we go here. Janine keeps the supplies and the kitchen fully stocked.

Poised on the calm, relatively shallow Gulf of Mexico, Hernando Beach is a sun-baked, thriving community laced with canals. It’s where boats live and launch from marinas and backyard docks. It’s home to second homes, families, retirees and visitors thrilled with their coastal discovery.

Nature is evident throughout Hernando Beach. It’s bounded by the 11,206 acre Weeki wachee Preserve, home to a mosaic of wildlife, lakes and trails. To the west is the languid Gulf of Mexico. This central region of Florida’s Gulf coast boasts a lush estuary. Tidal marshes and flats host abundant wildlife such as manatee, dolphin and otter.
