This home has everything you need. Clean, full laundry room and stacked kitchen. Communication with the host is excellent. The view is beautiful and the breeze wonderful. We saw manatees, sting rays and dolphins. It was a perfect place for quiet and relaxation and a little bit of fishing.
The location, the host, the cleanliness, and how stocked this house is with all your regular needs is incredible. We’ve had the absolute best time. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing!!
This is a beautiful home with water views from the front and the back decks. Everything was furnished so nicely and we loved our stay there. We would have liked to receive the check in codes a little earlier than their standard 90 minutes before, but they did offer an early check in for 50 way in advance. We would definitely stay there again and be sure to check out the Weeki Watchee mermaid show.
We really enjoyed our stay! This property is clean, well-stocked and just lovely and relaxing! We definitely used the coffee bar which had everything you could need for any coffee lover! There is even more outdoor seating than shown in the photos - nice surprise. I would highly recommend a stay here and plan to come back.
The home was very clean and orderly with cabinets labeled to easily locate items. The neighborhood is very safe. Sunrise and sunset views were phenomenal. Host was very responsive. We would stay here again.
This villa is perfect. Amazing for just chilling , relaxing with a bit of fishing or canoeing on the water. Exceptionally clean with everything you could possibly need inside.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was more than we expected. We lacked for nothing and the coffee bar was great. Communication was great and thorough. Brian even gave us a deal on an extra night. I think I forgot to turn the dishwasher on but I did leave a load washing in the machine. There were 3 fishing poles, kayaks, games, any appliance you could possibly need. Back and front porch and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 grandchildren. We could have accommodated more with the bunk beds. The area is safe and quiet. We will definitely be back sooner than later. A dolphin came by twice while we got a couple of bites fishing. Oh! And the beds are great and comfortable. We didn’t try the bunk beds. I recommend this place and give it a 100%.

Plenty of cookware and utensils
Very nice coffee station
Would return in the future
Wonderful experience for my wife and I visiting with our adult children and spouse. Brian was quick to respond to all questions and made the entire process from check-in to check-out easy. Saw lots of marine life during our stay including a dolphin that swam right up to the dock. Will definitely be back.
Love this place! Very clean. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful, clean, responsive owners. We have stayed twice and will be our local escape for many more visits. Love watching the dolphins, birds, and sunsets right from the balconies.
This is a lovely house; very comfortable with good quality fixtures and fittings both inside and on the two balconies. The kitchen drawers are even labelled so you don't have to open each one to find what you are after! I also appreciated the wide choice of coffee maker on offer.I greatly enjoyed my 6 nights here.
This is a fantastic home with a beautiful view of the Gulf sunset as well as direct canal access with kayaks. Two separate decks with seating, both front and back. Covered parking was a huge bonus, as well as covered outdoor seating area with grill. We rented this as a scenic place to stay while helping our daughter's family move to the area, so we greatly appreciated the *fully* stocked kitchen for cooking and large size washer and dryer. We saw dolphins during kayak rides in the canal, that was pretty amazing. The owner Brian checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything we needed. Friendly neighbors, great neighborhood for walking. We will definitely be returning. Great restaurants, parks, and Manatee reserve nearby.
We had a fantastic time. It was wonderful sitting on the deck watching dolphin, rays and wildlife in the water below. Brian is a wonderful host to work with and he has a well stocked property with just about everything you could need thru your visit. We'll be back!! THANKYOU Brian.
We have used this home several times for short escapes. The hosts could not be any more accommodating and are always very responsive. The home is impeccably clean, every time. The balcony is a great place to see the wildlife. We will be back soon.
This is a very clean and comfortable property. The owner has obviously put a lot of time and prep into stocking the house with every comfort and convenience. Check in was very smooth, with great communication. Thanks again Brian.

About the host
Hosted by Brian
We are from Massachusetts but we travel to Florida 1-2 times a month and we stay at both our VRBO properties each time. We are always making improvements based on your suggestions. Brian is really handy and he gets bored quickly, so he's always improving the house in some way or building something for the house, every time we go here. Janine keeps the supplies and the kitchen fully stocked.
Why they chose this property
Hernando Beach, Florida, United States Poised on the calm, relatively shallow Gulf of Mexico, Hernando Beach is a sun-baked, thriving community laced with canals. It’s where boats live and launch from marinas and backyard docks. It’s home to second homes, families, retirees and visitors thrilled with their coastal discovery.
Nature is evident throughout Hernando Beach. It’s bounded by the 11,206 acre Weeki wachee Preserve, home to a mosaic of wildlife, lakes and trails. To the west is the languid Gulf of Mexico. This central region of Florida’s Gulf coast boasts a lush estuary. Tidal marshes and flats host abundant wildlife such as manatee, dolphin and otter. Sandhill Cranes, herons, ibis and egrets strut about the neighborhood. Wild turkeys roam the brush. Bald eagles and osprey are frequent sights among the treetops or soaring overhead.
Offshore, healthy seagrass beds are habitat to a biodiverse array of marine life including fish, sea turtles, invertebrates and, everyone’s favorite bivalves between July and September: scallops.
Fine and casual dining choices – some waterfront – abound for breakfast, lunch and at day’s end. Spent the day on the water fishing or scalloping? Bring your catch to some of the “You Hook It, We Cook It” establishments for a savory, fun experience. And of course, with the Gulf of Mexico as backdrop, daily Technicolor sunsets glow as their own form of entertainment in this coastal community so rich with natural beauty.
What makes this property unique
Direct gulf of Mexico view from the front deck and directly on a salt water canal in the back with your own private boat / fishing dock. Canal leads straight out to the gulf of mexico
