The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Grill Use: please give the grill a good brushing and make sure the propane is turned off. Check gas stove burners to make sure they are off. Please do not leave dirty dishes for housekeeping.
We’d greatly appreciate it if you could start a load of all-white towels (no need to dry them) on your way out in the morning. It helps our housekeeping team get a head start on their long busy day.
Early Departure: If you plan to depart early, please let us know so we can inform our team.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please remove shoes if walking from beach.
Additional fee of $30.00 will be added if you leave dirty dishes, not cleaning the grill on last use, or failing to shut off the propane.
Please start a load of all white towels on the day you leave. This allows housekeeping to service more customers in this peak season. Thank you!

We were simply delighted with this cozy and comfortable waterfront cabin, beyond anything we were hoping for. The cabin is spacious, wonderful for relaxing on the deck or just a few steps away from strolling the beach, If you're considering this property, my advice to you is to GIBIG (Grab It Before It's Gone)!

Fabulous Lubec Wedding

Everything was perfect like walking into a family home away from home! They provided absolutely everything that we could have wanted! The house was roomy 5 adults didn’t trip over each other and the beds and bedding were absolutely top notch! But the best part about the house is the location, so beautiful and peaceful the deck towards the bay was wonderful Highly recommend this house, I will be booking it again for a longer stay, thanks again

Perfect spot for a getaway!

We very much enjoyed our time at this property. Check-in was a breeze, and the cottage is well appointed. Host was terrific and a great communicator. The location of the cottage is very desirable! Many times we had the entire beach/sand bar to ourselves. Extremely quiet and peaceful, yet close to amenities. There's so much to do in the Lubec area. We would absolutely stay here again.

Good Times in Lubec

Debra Everything was great! The cottage is perfect for what we were looking for. The weather was spectacular and we really enjoyed exploring NE Maine and Campobellow island. The one downside of coming at this time of year is that there was really only one restaurant open. As a result lines and waits for a table were long. It might also be good idea to bring the cushions from the front deck chairs inside. to dry when there has been a lot of rain. They look and feel very dry, but after a five minute sit-down one's pants need to go in the dryer. . We realized when we were unpacking at home that we must have left a little salami and swiss cheese in the meat drawer in the refrigerator. .I apologize and hope the person who cleans found it Thanks again for everything. We really appreciate all of your help. Chris Small.

Exceptional!!

Exceptional is the apt word to describe this beautiful property. You can feel the caring nature of the host as you walk around the house and property. The house is quaint and comfortable and the property is right on the shore where the bold tides of The Bay of Fundy affect daily changes. Lubec and Eastport are lovey towns as are all the towns and villages in the area. If you're interested in going to this area this property should be your choice.

Hi Folks! I am originally from Nebraska, farm raised, and have been in New England for over 30 years. My husband and I fell in love with Lubec while vacationing here in 2010, looking for the end of America. We decided to learn more about this beautiful place, and now plan to retire here. We frequent the area and hopefully can answer questions you may have about Lubec. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you as your host!

Why they chose this property

Seascape is a fully loaded home with a beautiful lit up front deck, private back deck and back yard of 1.3 acers. All this while setting practically right on the beach! When you wake up in the morning and look out that front window facing the sea, you will sprays of sunlight glittering off the water. You may see fishermen who clams off in the distance working the mud flat at low tide and a flock of sea birds flying overhead landing along the shoreline. You may even see an Eagle or two at a distance or setting on a dead tree branch. One thing is for certain, you will be the first to see the sun rise from the easternmost point in America! Seascape is very inviting, comfortable, and you won't want to leave!
